  1. Meh, if I'm not mistaken Condell and Zach both were Ti-Cats in 2014-15 where Cats were 9-9 and 10-8 with Collaros slinging the ball and Condell as OC.
  2. Like I said, Eric Deslauriers https://www.bluebombers.com/eric-deslauriers/ Or Brock Sunderland https://www.bluebombers.com/brock-sunderland/ There's also Jim Jauch who, like Sunderland, has experience scouting players who are familiar with a 100 yard field and goal posts at the front of the endzone.
  3. Of course O'Shea is gone. Kyle Walters should not let the door hit him on the way out either. Conceivable that Brock Sunderland, although he only had a .471 pct as Elks GM, or Eric Deslauriers could replace Walters. They are already here and know the club. Anyone have thoughts about Marc Mueller as head coach?
  4. Way to go bigg jay! Who ya pickin' for the Cup?
  5. I imagine Walters will be gone soon. And I want to see O'Shea gone too. He's arrogant and stubborn. Terrible in-game management. Who would replace him? No idea ... hopefully not Jarious Jackson who sucks as HC. Why not take a shot at replacing Hogan with Collaros? It seems clear that he and Hogan did not get along. Who is more to blame for the sputtering 3 step drop no rollout offence? Take your pick. But it would be a mistake to let Collaros on the field as the starter again. So let's have competition at QB - develop the prospects - Wilson, Artopoeus and maybe Taylor Elgersma behind an off-season CFL journeyman like Taylor Powell who looks like a free agent in Hammy? If Oliveira wants to leave for the money, fine. I bet he stays. Especially if Bombers spend like hell this off-season on better FA vets, and younger prospects on both the O-line and D-line. Bombers looked especially weak in pass pro and discomboblulated run blocking. And we had no pressure on opposing QBs - all season long and going back to 2024. Success starts and ends in the trenches.
  6. This is O'Shea's M.O. But it should not be surprising, given his own career. He refused to retire at the end of his useful football life and had to be released by the Argos. If it had been up to him, he would've kept playing believing he could still bring it.
  7. MTL = 556 net offence. You can't win when you surrender yards like that. Full stop.
  8. Collaros not even bothering to go thru his reads - he just expects to get smacked. So, self preservation. Collaros not even bothering to go thru his reads - he just expects to get smacked. So, self preservation.

  10. Keep him in. He can chuck it with his left hand.
  11. Fire Walters Fire OShea Fire Hogan Fire Collaros Fire Streveler Fire Thomas Fire Jefferson Fire Neufeld and Bryant Fire Kolankowski for a start.
  12. You'd think the coaches would adjust for Collaros's lack of arm strength, poor velocity and accuracy and devise a short passing game. I mean if regular fans can see this, surely they can too. Just about every pass today was under-thrown or off-target. Why don't they do something about this? It's been evident for going on 3 seasons. Also, hate losing to Fajardo.
  13. Pokey made an amazing TD grab though. Bailed out Collaros who tossed another noodle-armed miss.
  14. Where's the GM in this hot mess? Totally absent and unaccountable all season. Let the heads roll before next year - starting with Walters. Followed by O'Shea. Followed by Collaros ...
  15. Demski, looks like quad pull. Not good.
  16. Double covered + noodle arm = interception Zach.
  17. This is not a top-tier CFL team. In a way, it's too bad they aren't a total basket case club, in which case O'Shea might be forced to let us see what Terry Wilson has, along with some of the other young players who remain hidden in the wings but who don't get to play.
  18. QB not processing things fast enough. Too many concussions. Sh*tty pass pro isn't helping.
  19. Collaros hit his head on the turf on that sack.
  20. Not sure I buy these arguments entirely. If Dru Brown were a Blue Bomber today he'd certainly get the ball to Lawler. Brown has a rifle of an arm. When you say Collaros's very obvious collapse was not predicted, it's noteworthy that ZC's decline began while Brown was still here as backup. Remember that many posters here wanted the club to keep Brown instead of Collaros. Grant, yes, it is amazing to think Bombers braintrust would let the CFLs best returner in past decade just walk. Especially if, as you say, he seemed unavailable from time to time due to injury. Bombers have a history of keeping players around in that status.
  21. I know this has been discussed to death but I still shake my head in disbelief - Bombers let Dru Brown get away after developing him. Also Janarion Grant and Kenny Lawler lost in free agency. What were they thinking?
  22. That KR return for six might be the first since Grant left. And then a punt return for 6 as well. That's a confidence builder.
