But if we want a coach who can develop young players and teach them to play the right away and who has enough respect and clout to stick it to veterans, when is Dale Hawerchuk ready to become a Head Coach?

I kind of feel bad for Spicer in a way. The lunatic that harassed with at an Apple Store would make anyone jumpy. But then again, he doesnt have to take the job. Answering my own question, Capfriendly lists Buff's NMC as a "No Movement Clause" until 18/19 when it becomes a 14 team no-trade list. So prior to 18/19, Jets would need Buff to agree 100%. How does he like the Desert? (Not Dessert) Maybe Vegas would like to make him the centerpiece of a deal.

The good news, in the off-season, there is likely a lot of team interested. Anyone know what Buff's NMC details are? is it a full NMC? One where he has to submit a list of teams?

I think they hired Noel because of his repuation of working with young players. But he didnt have the cache to get into it with entitled millionaire veterans. Chevy wanted Maurice because, as Maurice said, he could make them f'n cry. And its too easy to say get rid of them because its the norm in Sports for players to check out of listening to a coach but I'd be *interested* in any thoughts that players that purposely played poorly or purposely was disrespectful to their coach to get him fired should have been moved out for not being the right type of player. Also, Noel seemed like a genuinely nice man. I didnt know him. But he seemed that. I hope we dont have a culture of disrespect in our locker room.

They dont need to move the pick to re-make the team. I love Wheeler. But I'd trade everyone over the age of...I dont know, 26. Hand this team to Scheif, Trouba, Morrissey, Ehlers, Laine, Lowry etc. I dont want to rehash Frolik because it wasnt just about paying him but thats the type of unspectacular player we need. I'd keep Perreault and Little of the over-26 club. What you'd get for the rest would be potentially game-changing.

Yeah I heard that criticism of Gal Gadot and she looked pretty thin when cast. But she gained 17 lbs of muscle for the role and she's 5'10". I thought she was tremendous. Her look, accent, acting ability - to me she fit the role so perfectly that even if she was too thin whatever, it didnt matter. And I didnt think she was too thin on screen. I did find her theme sort of annoying as its so heavy and in the fight scene they played it multiple times, like everytime she appeared and it seemed a bit funny. But it's a pretty "strong" theme and I like it now.

This really is the most perplexing thing. And the team, through their statements and what they feed media, is really pushing the false narrative of "youth". We know the ups and downs with youth. But youth isnt the reason the veterans look as disinterested as the rookies. As some online pointed out, the player who seems most consistently to give a **** is the one who demanded a trade. If HE can show up every game why cant anyone else? There is a player issue or a coaching issue or both. Coaching issue can definitely lead to a player issue.

Vegas isnt drafting 3rd. They have the same odds as 3rd. So they could draft 1-...6th? Unless Im mistaken. Jets can still get #1.

I wouldnt give up on Helle either. I'd give up on a goalie coach that has seen every goalie get worse the more he's coached by him.

it just shows how stupid fighting is in the first place. In two games our "fighter" fought a fight that meant nothing and our captain and our best D man fought.
