Sure but Trump spoke very specifically about something when he really had nothing. It was so random. It would be like if I heard someone at work say they heard from someone else that there was a peeping tom in Winnipeg and then I tweet out that my Neighbor Jim Smith, three doors down, was staring in my window last night and what a sick SOB he is. How much pressure, I wonder, on the ref not to press criminal charges and/or sue. My thing is, Buff is the most unique player in the NHL. if the Jets did compete for a playoff spot next year, he could easily be the difference maker. He could be a Conn Smythe winner. I asked earlier about who's to blame for Buff when he stayed out extra long and took a penalty in OT and someone said Buff. But where is the consequences from the coaches. Why does Buff get to do whatever he wants? He never has ice time cut or playing scenario's cut. He's clearly been awful as a result of playing too much but they dont back off his ice time. is he Chipman's best friend or something? Get Trouba signed long term and he and Morrissey are our top pairing for the next 12 years. Cut Buff's ice time down to 15-20 minutes tops, which can easily be done with a healthy Myers. If he doesnt like it, trade him.

Im the farthest thing from an expert in electric cars, but isnt part of the issue the chicken & egg thing - you need X amount of cars on the road to justify investment in charging stations but no one wants to invest in stations if no one is using them. Also, has the technology advanced to where we can have an electric vehicle in Manitoba?

I dont see why. The NHL moved the time frame back so Vegas had more time with the list and presumably more time to communicate with other teams and make deals. NHL would want activity and eyeballs on their product, I'd think. Does Myers have a NMC? If I recall, the reason we assume he'd be protected is just because he's valuable. But if the Jets dont HAVE to protect them, wouldnt it be easier for them to make a deal with Vegas not to select him than to ask Toby to waive?
