Cheveldayoff willing to move first round pick
Myers' commitment? Why do you say that? He was seriously injured this past season and his new-born nearly died. I think he can be forgiven for not being focused 100% on hockey. We'll see this season...

The Phonebooth now known as "Bell MTS Place"
The clunkiness is the double name - Bell & MTS. That might change one day. Bell Place is easier to roll off the tongue. But I know everyone assumes MTS will disappear but its a lot of money they are spending to change everything from MTS to BellMTS so I think it sticks for awhile. Hard to blame the corporation. The money they spend is to advertise their brand. Although, MTS is a local brand and Bell is a national brand. So even if BellMTS sticks, they might one day drop MTS from the rink as it generates national advertising. But I do think Bell is trying to be cognizant of local brand loyalty to MTS.

Around The NHL 2016/2017
I'd go to Vegas and offer them something to *not* take Toby. Then go to Toby and offer him a 2-3 year extension to waive.

Around The NHL 2016/2017
Any truth to the rumour going around twitter that's a Toby has agreed to waive his NMC?

I doubt it. That contract, that skill set....they'd take him. Especially as it would mean protecting more forwards and thus their options would be Myers or maybe Dano. Even if they dont value Myers, he is more valuable trading to someone else than Dano.

The Phonebooth now known as "Bell MTS Place"
Because Bell paid a lot of money for MTS and is spending a lot of money re-branding to BellMTS. MTS didnt buy the naming rights out of the goodness of their hearts - its advertising.

The Phonebooth now known as "Bell MTS Place"
Bell is spending a lot of money on re branding MTS to BellMTS so I suspect they dont drop the MTS part anytime soon.

I thought he initially refused to blow? At least he pulled over when he felt himself losing consciousness. But the responsibility is still his, barring a sudden medical condition striking, to ensure he's ok to drive. Not the worst thing ever, as he clearly got off the road. But a guy of hsi wealth and stature pops new pills that are likely relaxers of some kid, 3am, doesnt get a ride? Come on. Any way, bad decision leads to terrible PR and a mug shot that will follow him forever.- Canadian Politics
Clearly that was written by a biased opposition to him, just by how many points were worded. But assuming the bulk of it is generally accurate, the Cons are unbelievably stupid. And its this kind of bullshit that will make me a liberal *puke*- Canadian Politics
Disgusting.- Canadian Politics
Its hard to believe in someone who is anti-gay in this day and age. pro-life, I understand. There were times when it was easier to "disagree" about basics, especially when the leader would say, despite his believes, he had no plan to re-open the debate. When Harper was first running for PM, we heard all the fear mongering about what crazy things he'd do. He did none of it. And whatever his personal beliefs were, he was smart enough to win rather then lose. I know very little about this new leader. Has he really said he is ANTI gay marriage? For **** sake, its 2017.- CFL: 60
When is the Bombers' deal with CJOB up...? Nice to see 1290 doing more CFL coverage, preparing to try to snag the rights?- US Politics

Mulroney was a pretty important historical figure in Canada. But i for one appreciate @iHeart linking of entertainment news. Keep up the good work!- Random News Items
Thats quite the mug shot. Im surprised people that rich even bother to drive themselves. And of course because he's that rich, its even more mind blowing than usual that he decided to drive. Take a chopper.- POLL: Does Trouba sign a longterm extension with the Winnipeg Jets this summer?
So you agree with me- US Politics
Not that there's anything wrong with that...- 2017 NHL Playoffs
Yeah I cant say I'd be upset if they win. Its a nice story. Im all about the Pens but Preds winning, I'd be happy for them.- 2017 NHL Playoffs
Im afraid the Preds will win. But really, on paper, they shouldn't. Missing their top center....Pens should be able to outlast them. Will come to goaltending. If Rinne steals a couple, its the Preds. Will be interesting to see how both teams come out in game 1. Pens have been there before and should be pretty loose and ready to rock. Will the Preds have nerves?- 2017 NHL Playoffs
Im definitely looking forward to the schedule coming out and seeing when the Jets play in Vegas. I dont imagine I'd love Vegas in the winter (it gets cool) but I'd go down for a few days to see the Jets play. I suspect there will be a lot of Winnipeggers doing the same thing.- US Politics
