  2. They ran him out of Sask and he was a disaster in Hamilton. But alas a great endorsement being better than Crowton.

  4. Muamba will not extend right now...why would he. Plus they are cap tight already. Plus he has that idiot agent that some teams won't even deal with. Number one priority is the play calling and Mack's boy Crowton. A good indication will be similar to Berry taking over in Mont. I won't be surprised if that is the first order of business and it should be.

  10. This is another back room board move. The other thing is people talk about who has or hasn't done a good job when they have no idea who is doing or who has done what there.
  11. I have a novel idea. Perhaps they should hire an independent consultant and have them sit done with the people in the organization and find out from them their roles, their perception of exactly what is going on there. You can even include the BoD if you like. Clearly that organization has no defined leader and no clear communication chain. Whatever happened to Watchorn's demand for a code of conduct?

  15. Barker said when he left Winnipeg after his interview and read about things said in the confines of the interview the next day in the paper he didn't want the job. That should tell people something.
  16. Do a nation wide headhunter search like they did to hire Buchko. There is some indication as to the flaws in the current hiring process in place in the organization.
  17. Chris Jones' role as AGM in Toronto is in the area of player personnel and off season scouting. At some point people need to realize there is more to being a GM than player personnel.
  18. Agreed Mike but this has been a long standing problem with the Bod. As for resigning or extending players? No player in there right mind would or should resign to a team in total flux , or perhaps chaos is a better word.would they?

  20. What gave you the notion that slashing costs was an issue....there is a difference between spending for the sake of spending. What gave you an indication that cost savings in any way handcuffed football. Mike Kelly was a large blemish no doubt but the debt reduction was more a product of WEC , city and province debenture forgiveness that was negotiated.
  21. Quality people can often be a greater asset than simply a large quantity of coaches.
  22. Far worse things could happen.....something needs to get this runaway train back on the rails.
