I have to admit to a completely different viewpoint on Osh's style. He doesn't need to change his personality or attitude or whatever you want to define it as. The idea of the 'ass-kicking coach' frankly is antiquated. That is a quick way to burn bridges and get fired. He treats his players with respect and asks the same in return. There is a reason why people speak so highly of the team culture here. Nobody this far into a professional career - coach or player - should need fear as a motivator. In fact I believe it was Buono who said something like his job wasn't to motivate the players, but to get rid of the ones who need to be motivated. It's that sense of brotherhood that will help teams get through tough times, in my opinion. This team has some big issues that need to be fixed. They've also been the best team in the league by a decent distance the past few years. It was inevitable that they would come back to the pack a bit as players age and other teams improve.

Stunned we couldn't contain Crum better at the end of the game. Gave him ton of space to run.

Chris Jones definitely should be fired. Still can't get over that he was totally fine with his QB room heading into the season. Jones and Suitor may be Cornelius' only fans.

Hope Calgary enjoyed the first quarter lead. Plenty of folks I'm sure were excited to bury the Bombers but this is a good football team.

Buck Pierce may want to try a different run call. WR sweep ain't cutting it.

Offense just awful right now

There are people that think Chris Jones is a great head coach... It may have been true at one point but it definitely isn't recently. There is no excuse for Edmonton to be this bad, in my opinion. There is no option at QB and you're not even at the halfway point of the season.

Been a long time since the Bombers got smacked this bad. Full credit to BC, all three phases of their game has been excellent tonight. Our weaknesses have definitely been on display but I'm still confident we are a good team. BC was just flat out better today.

We got whooped on both sides of the line. Their DL has been dominating. Really limited our offense simply with all their pressure.

I feel like the Argos continually make their jerseys worse every time they change them. The oars on the shoulder pads are essentially the Oregon Ducks feathers. I can't read the numbers at all from a distance either. Colour scheme just looks off too.

Winning by 18 against a hated rival...in their stadium...in their home opener... Definitely gotta work on the D but we will be fine. Still a really good and fun team.

Just my two cents, but I'd like to see how this actually plays out before folks start jumping all over Osh. Dude's been to three straight Grey Cups but suddenly his roster management is poor. He certainly has his faults and definitely has and will make mistakes - including with the roster - but I want to see how this actually is deployed first. He is going to do what's best for the team. I am skeptical he would just skip over a possible advantage just for the hell of it.

My team still has them. Interface and system seems significantly worse than last year so that's disappointing.

Adding crazy confusing rules like this will only make it more difficult to attract new fans. Great job CFL.

I can't fault them too much for thinking we're going to run this thing back for as long as possible until the wheels fall off.

And now he's the head coach of my favourite football team. How cool is that? In ten years some other former Canadian CFL player could be coaching someone else's favourite football team and maybe that resonates with him or her.

If the ratio didn't exist there would be no Mike O'Shea story, and countless others just like that. Those stories are what make the CFL personal and connected to people, not just Yet Another Football League.

I thought Buck Pierce had a really rough game plan today. Way too much Prukop, thought he was trying real hard to pull off the fancy play. Maybe he was trying for a change of pace since Collaros was also brutal, but I'm surprised we couldn't generate more in the run game when needed. You don't often see the Bombers fail at so many spots in one game. Offense (Collaros and Pierce especially) was just off all night. Defense didn't make the major play that we thought they would. Liegghio's short kick offs and missed kicks made the difference too. Plenty of blame to go around.

Great year, awful loss. Whole team flat out didn't bring it today. Lot of head scratching decisions offensively today and by the staff.

Dickenson challenging a play to prolong his team's own agony is hilariously stupid. What a classless loser. We should have run up the score.

You know, the classic FNF theme is enjoyable.

Everyone getting sucked into this debate is just giving the opposing viewpoint more air. There are very few folks that think that hit was clean. Most wear a lot of green.
