Yikes he hasn't really had a hit in forever....

Sooner or later he'll turn into Bruce Willis and take any pay day and have everything to direct to video

I think he's too into his meditations, paintings etc... to care much about doing movies anymore.  I think he mostly looks for something that will challenge him.  Maybe he's doing this one for fun.

Well I finally got to try Fat Burger on Regent, it's kind of like Five Guys minus the peanuts, plus there's a breakfast menu and shakes

that was some good maple bacon. I didn't buy a shake because I had just got out of the dentist (3 cavities what the hell did I do to deserve that?)

Yeah, FatBurger is exactly like Five Guys....minus the taste.

You can't compare the two.  Fatburger is garbage.  No flavor at all.

How about "Cheers" goes bankrupt and Fraser buys it to save it from the wrecking ball and moves back to Boston.  Full circle!  You could have the original Cheers gang plus new young goofy bar regulars.

Without a laugh track the show may seem really weird.

What are they going to call it?  9 to 5: Plastic Surgery?

I seriously have a hard time watching a movie or TV show with anyone who has plastic surgery.  It just looks so awful.  I like Stallone but geez man...just let your face get old.  These people are making themselves look worse and worse.  I'd rather watch Carl Reiner with his saggy face then Courtenay Cox or any other person with plastic surgery.  A little can look ok...but these people take it waaaay out of hand.

Not much to talk about. There's a fine line and he's done for the short term no matter what his co-stars think about the firing. Least they got the script though for GotGv3.

A fine line that he hasn't crossed in 10 years.  Disney knew about his tweets when they hired him.  So why get rid of him now after all these years?

Maybe it's more his hatred of Trump that they got rid of him.

Two years after I believe.  Several years before the second pilot, Where No Man Has Gone Before, with William Shatner in the lead role.

Ah that's where I messed up.  It's several years before Kirk is Captain.  I didn't realize the Cage was so far back.

Bruce Greenwood.  He also looks a lot like the original actor Jeffrey Hunter.  The trailer seems to indicate a Captain Pike quite different from the brooding, introspective figure who questioned what he was doing in the original pilot the Cage, although there was an in-universe reason why he was that way (the previous mission referenced a disaster where crew were killed and it affected Pike).  They've indicated there will be "easter eggs" to The Cage so hopefully they sort of touch on how he came back from wanting to quit.

But this is still years before the Cage episode isn't it?

  8. I'm surprised no one's talked about how James Gunn got fired from Disney.  I think it's stupid that they fired him.  Especially if it's for the posts he made 10 years ago which he apologized for.  And according to Gunn's twitter that sounds like that's what it was.  Posts he's deleted and apologized for and hasn't made comments like that in over 10 years.  I think Disney is being hugely ridiculous.  It's like saying no one is allowed to make any mistakes in their lives even though they've learned from those mistakes.  Really brought Disney down a few notches for me.

It's funny that they got someone to play Pike that looks like a younger version of the movie actor who I'm too lazy to look up his name.

Looks like they added a bit more humor to the show.  So far looks good.

The original Robocop was so good.  The sequels were garbage and the remake was awful.  The only scene worth watching in the remake was when he demanded to see his true self and they slowly disassembled him into almost nothing.

I liked the second Robocop too. Wasn’t as good as the first but way better then three and the remake.
