If they don't play the majority of defensive plays zone coverage I'll be very concerned about Halls ability to call defence moving forward. Ray has struggled against zone this year.

I'm not concerned about Ray at all to be honest. His weakness this season is...zone. That's it. Play zone and double up SJ. Their Defence is way more of a concern to me, butler has 7 damn sacks already. And they have some decent ball hawks behind him. Will be a real test for our Oline and Nichols.

please see all other suspensions in the CFL. Even if the Commish gave him a 4 game suspension it doesn't mean it would happen. Players always fight it. Annoying, but one game is better than none. I'm thinking He won't be in the league much longer anyway. Austin wasn't pleased with him.

I can see him taking Coates spot this year if he comes as advertised.

Im really hoping Knox makes so many plays that when Wild is back they have to keep Knox in the line up and sit Hurl. Wasn't pleased with his play against CGY. Seemed to get mixed up on pass plays often.

I think question remains though, I don't mind the play call (though I wouldn't have done it at that time) but why have JFG be the target on a hook and go? He doesn't have the speed to make that play. I'm putting this lose solely on the Offence. I don't understand how anyone isn't? BLM is going to score points. Yet he was held to 9 points and 7 completions off of 3 turnovers in the 1st half!!!! That alone should give the defence the game ball. They played very well in the first have and started to lose it in the 2nd half. The O, specifically LAPO and his **** play calling, were reason 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 of why the bombers lost. That and mistakes made by basically every one on that side of the ball. How many teams win when they throw a int in the end zone and then a pick 6? Too many mistakes by the O. and **** for brains play calling!

I feel like we are going in circles. He is in the Top position of the CFL. Every CEO every President, etc etc (good ones anyway) will get involved in some capacity (not doing everything) when a certain aspect of their company is failing. This isn't rocket science, it's good business. You're right, he's not going fix things himself. However, he should still be very much involved in the planning/implementation etc etc of the process to turn things around. He's not going to do it himself. But he will be involved. As he should be.

His job is to improve the brand (business). Making a healthier TO market will do that. I'm sure he doesn't think it's his job to do the day to day of improving it. But it certainly should be his responsibility to make sure things are moving in the right direction for that franchise, along with every other franchise.

The CFL is a business. When one aspect is failing it hurts the business as a whole.
