Any serious CFL fan knows that a 2 score lead can evaporate in a hurry, especially in the 4th quarter during an away game. It's happened countless times in the CFL. NFL - totally agree, it would be garbage time. CFL - 2 score lead - game isn't over until the clock is under 30 seconds regardless of how the Off has been playing.

Rogers was also a Rookie. Jorden is in his 4th year with the Stamps. That's the difference.

I'm not surprised by this. Wouldn't be surprised to see him miss the next couple actually. Hopefully Mayo can step up and show something!!!

Totally agree, I always have to remind myself of this. "the score could have been way worse!" but it wasn't, it wasn't because the Bombers made the plays they had too to keep it close. Plain and simple. It doesn't matter if MTL totally screwed up a play or not. What matters is the result of the play.

He did make a few solid hits. And seemed to get under the skin of Sutton. This likely speaks to the lack of production from the other safeties though.

More often than not they were either too late, or entirely ineffective. Bass' hit on Glenn being one of the few examples of when they worked.

yeah I think we had a sack, but it was called back due to a phantom face mask call. Also MTL didn't really have to deal with a lot of Blitzes...for some reason that wasn't in our game plan. And when we did blitz it was obvious where it was going to come from well before the snap.

lol Jorden is not the next Rogers. You could tell in Rogers first full game with the stamps that he was going south soon. He was THAT good. Jorden looked decent, but he's no Rogers.

A buddy of mine just sent me some stats on scoring 30 points. Current streak by a CFL team failing to score more than 30 points during regular season. No other team has a streak longer than 6 games.....WPG on the other hand is currently sitting at 34. The last time we scored more than 30 points was Jully 11th 2014 in MTL. Sooooo WE'RE DUE!!!!! I am picking the bombers to win. CGY looked bad last week. Considering how many punt blocks they had that game should have been over much earlier. No Rogers, No fuller, No Cornish, No Raymond. That's a lot of production to not have and it showed.

yeah likely from taking too many hits. I remember in 14 him being very calm in the pocket and stepping up while looking down field. He's looking a lot more like Buck now.

this would seem like a true statement if you just didn't watch the game at all. Dressler was playing well until that guy intentionally took a run at him (Yeah it was! Led with his head into a guy with known concussion issue, it wasn't an accident) and smith was wide open on few plays where he could have caught that ball had he been 6'7. And the pass that was intended for Smith but was INT had nothing to do with Smith, he wasn't open on that route at all, Willy had no business throwing that ball. Finally, like others have said, being taller doesn't give you better hands. It was a poor ball by Willy, but smith needs to make that catch in the endzone.

except there were plenty of plays were glen had a 3 step drop and the ball was gone. No chance at pressure at all. 3 seconds is totally doable. We just weren't doing it. For what ever reasons. Drew looked shell shocked still. Couldn't decide where to go, and when he did...didn't seem to trust what he saw.

I was super pissed after the game. Due mostly to that last play call. I just think a PI call on a jump ball is a very likely thing to happen in the CFL and they went for a play that works once in a lifetime. bah...anyway. I didn't think the Offence looked ready to go, with the exception of Harris. Much like TO on thursday, our O just wasn't ready to play. I'm sure losing dressler that early didn't help with the game plan but why they didn't lean on Harris in the 1st half??????? I'll never understand. The Oline played decently...Willy couldn't see the field/didn't trust himself. Held on to the ball way to long, pumped his arm a bunch, and panicked before he had too. I want to see WAY more creativity from Lapo...he was heavily out coached by AC last night. On D, Man RANDLE is BACK!! Fantastic game. The rest of the secondary had their ups and downs, some solid plays by the rookies out there. Macho, well I'll give him credit for getting under the skin of MTL, being a step earlier than he was would have resulted in a few solid plays/stops. I thought it was common knowledge that hitting Glenn lead to good things? See the Randle int...so why we weren't blitzing the snot out of them I don't get. Send the rookies in to hit him, do something. The front 4 had pretty horrible pressure. Though I will say Glenn did well at getting the ball off quickly. All in all, Super disappointed but it's not the end of the world. it's going to be a rough going until labour day. But after that, we will see how this teams plays. MTL won't be as bad as some think, those receivers will make Glenns job easy.

I had mine being shipped to my house. Anyone else do this? Or is that just a default type deal and I'll still have to pick it up at the store.

He'll likely be lining up against a weaker DB out there as well. I don't mind him out there, He has the speed to get open and runs nice enough routes that it'll make him hard to cover basically anywhere. He'll be inside a few times though.
