I do agree actually! I just don't think Streveler should start going forward. I didn't boo, but I thought it was a stupid decision to let him back in there. One thing I often don't hear about that situation is the RT. Hardrick was out. So, poor play, already beat up, game out of hand AND a new RT....recipe for disaster.

Calm ur **** sticky. I'm just pointing out that Bo and Harris looked like hot garbage that game. And an arguement could be made that they should have been pulled. But they weren't, they were left in. Given more rope and able to work through it. Exactly what I except Nichols to do.

And this why the CFL is so interesting this year. There is parity across the league. I've read here that the bombers are no where near as good as the esks...but they just lost to a Hamilton team that the bombers beat. Hope this puts things into perspective for people. Any team can beat any team (even MTL). It's just about who shows up. 1 loss doesnt = season over.

I think Ticats have a solid chance. You have to play the pass well to beat Edm. Something hammy does better than most teams. Masoli just needs to put up some points.

I'm personally done with Lankford. I was done with him when he gave up on that corner route last year but it is what it is. We've had decent receivers in camp before that have gone on to play well for other teams. A part of that is A) they couldn't beat out the person in front of them like Adams, or Dressler etc. b) they just didn't fit the system well enough here. c) They didn't tow the company line, and I think this plays a larger factor. Which is a good thing and a bad thing. Guess who has been tweeting this year about not getting playing time or about how the best players often don't get an opportunity...and guess where that player currently sits on this team....I'll give you a hint. He ain't on the IR.

Have there been any notes on practice when it comes to who is practicing where? I too would like to see Washington get an opportunity.

I really wish I could say the riders got lucky, had help from **** calls etc etc...but they just flat out slapped CGY around. Collaros looked like his old self and that D did what it does. Thing that pisses me off now, is that the Bombers have to go to CGY and play them after they took that beating. Won't be an easy game. Bombers better show up.

Well said Mike. I to think Nichols is just in a slump. Likely stemming from his knee injury. It happens, and I expect him to turn it around this season. I also feel he missed an opportunity. He was obviously emotional after the loss, and I totally understand why. But to say what he did, shouldn't have happened. He's at work. He's getting paid, by me (fans). If I'm not happy with what I'm paying for, I will let that be known. Though I wasn't one that boo'd. I hated the decision to let him back in the game. The DE's where playing very well for OTT AND Hardrick was out. I get the next man up philosophy but you're putting your starting QB (who had already taken a beating) behind a now even weaker Oline for 3 minutes of garbage time??? Anyone who thinks that's a good idea, is either too close to the players or they just don't understand the risk involved with every snap of the ball. I've not given up hope on this team/season. But Nichols needs to step up and be a leader in the media (he's obviously one in the locker room) 100% of the time. Not just when things are going well. I'll also say that I think the media is stretching this out a fair bit too.
