O'Shea was a pretty mentally tough player.......but this team is, obviously not cast in his image...

24 penalties.....absurd.

Smith is a gamer, albeit with a very average arm. Rider back 7 on D....is not very good. The LB crew is just horrible. But the Riders biggest problem may be the multiple mental mistakes and penalties from veteran players

Unreal arm... His first game against Montreal....he throws a 35 yd deep slant to Tommy Scott, and you could hang your heavy wash on it. I was in awe. Of course another game, he throws a quick slant to Scott, who is not watching - ball hits him in the back of the head, and practically cold ***** him...... Brock woud throw the ole quick square out pattern, but they would be 15-20 yarders to the wide side - ball would get there before the defender could react to the break....bloody near impossible to stop. Caught some passes after practice, from Dieter - still have a slight cavity in my chest, to show for it. Brock would then kneel down, and throw spirals into the endzone.....from midfield!

That's kind of odd considering the Riders sold around 25k season tickets that year that so many bomber fans were there isn't it? You guys can laugh at how bad we are all you want but even this year there are 26700 season tickets sold so the myth that any team will ever outnumber our fans in our stadium is simply that, This is Migs for sure, right? Blue proceeded to prove it.... outscoring Lions 16-3 in 2nd half.... Willy hits D. Adams with perfect seam throw... ...as Adams beats 2 DB's for for 60 catch and run TD.. ...his 4 -125 .... continues his coming out party... How many officials does it take to make a call, these days? About 6. Strange fake punt by Bombers .......on a 3rd and 20.... Still some dumb penalties on S-teams ... Some erratic directional punting from Lirim, tonight..... Hall and the D, made some adjustments....Lions had 3 points in 2nd half.... ...forcing Lulay into 3 big picks..... Bass made a ton of plays at OLB... Hurl came out of the doghouse.... with a pick and a bunch of tackles..... J. Adams had a great diving pick..... and a huge hit on Harris.... 2 monster plays late.... from Demond Washington.... ....a knockdown on 2nd down from the Bomber 10 yd line.... ...and a game clinching INT, with under 2 minutes to go.... Cam Marshall carried the mail, down the stretch.... ...and is making the case for more playing time at RB.... Drew Willy is the leader of this bunch..... See? the Bombers can win at home... See? the Bombers can win on a short week... See? DOD can gin on a long weekend....

Tough spot.....Taman and perhaps CC can play the injury card for survival.....and the Riders can get a dose of what a BT "long range plan" looks like.....
