Two very questionable 3rd down gambles that failed Two blown challenges Gave up the wind, with the 2nd half choice "working the officials" - non-stop Jones did his part, in that Rider loss. Watching a number of Rider games....his in-game decision making has been questionable, all year.

Riders had Harris upright, with clock still running. One of our OL came over and knocked him down. Unsung hero.

Yup the Riders were playing a couple of DT's from Bugtussle.....and we don't pound it up there with Harris?

We were sloppy on both sides of the ball, Our D played its worst game in 6 weeks ....we forgot about Harris down deep....but were still up 16 points, before going into "playsafe" mode far too early. Still won. No reason we cannot blow these guys out at the BB.

The positive......we can certainly play better and hammer the Riders at home.

It was a real nitpick PI call. But we have seen a ton of those, all year. And we will see more. If you use bad breath on a guy, past the 5 yards....out comes the flag. Every team takes it's turn in that particular barrel....yesterday, it was the Riders turn. As far as Jones, and his comments......have seen at least 3-4 Rider games, where Jones's game coaching has simply not been up to the mark. Blaming refs and hinting at conspiracies, after that game... is simply having deflector shields on full, and Rider Nation on stun...as far as the terrible job (s) being done...

We were up 19-3, when it should of been more like 30-3...... Then the O went right into safety mode (ole Lapo habit) Can't take a 16 point lead, to the bank, with a half to go in the CFL. Our use of Harris was somewhat mystifying - why do we go away from him, deep in enemy territory? Why, against the weakest interior line in the league, were we running all that stuff to the outside?

When we ignore Harris for almost 3 quarters and go into play safe mode only up 19-3......then our play calling could be better.

Didn't challenge their receivers.....laying off 10-15 yds a great deal of the time. Speaking of time.....Durant had too much and our D-setup enable him to do a lot of pitch and catch. Even the tackling after the catch was pretty sloppy, as well

Good running by Harris...sets up opening drive FG by Medlock... Just as well....as Harris does not see the ball much after that.... Holley catches one deep from Durant..but Crapigna misses FG.... Durant getting surprising amount of time to throw...... Riders boning themselves with early penalties..... Nichols lays out perfect long ball to McDuffie for 80 yd TD...10-0 Crapigna misses another FG...good return by Leggett.... ...sets up Medlock from 25....now 13-0 Blue... Riders bungle fake punt....Bomber O set up again... ...but Medlock hits post on 45 yarder....streak over... Bombers are squandering chances to blow it open... Riders still taking penalties...even with 13th man..... Harris is missing in action, as game goes on.... Riders in Blue territory 5 times in half - garner 3 points Nichols strings together some completions before the half... ....to set up...yup another Medlock FG... 16-3 at the half...but not a big lead....in this league... Jones calls questionable 3rd and 3 gamble....fail. Nichols strings some more completions.... but drive stalls AGAIN down deep..... Medlock 18 yds for a 19-3 lead.... Jones goes fishing on questionable challenges.... Riders put long TD drive together and 2 point convert Blue getting very conservative on O Meanwhile....Rider receivers getting plenty of room to operate Bruce Johnson having some problems back there.... ....so is Johnny Adams... Bomber penalties set up short Rider TD drive..... ...and the 2 point convert...... 19-19.....16 point lead gone....Riders have the Mo.. Johnson still having problems in the back... Soft coverage/missed tackles on D...bring back bad memories.. Riders take ball in 3rd quarter, give up wind in 4th..... Adams gets the long awaited INT, on D..... ..some dink and dunk..sets up Medlock... ..who pushes Bombers into lead 23-19..... Collins wide open on deep pass..... Why did we cut this guy anyways?. McDuffie having coming out party as receiver... Riders drive again...Durant still getting time.... ...and ends up with 400 yds passing ... Nichols has about 350 yds himself... ...but most of it in the middle of the field.... C.J. Roberts makes great diving INT on Durant throwaway..... Bombers winning the turnover battle, yet again... Bombers move out from goal line...... ..but booming punt is not covered... as Lawrence returns it for 85 yd TD punt return.... Crapinga caps miserable game with missed PAT... Leggett runs it out of the endzone 40 yds..... Tie game 25-25 with little time left.... Couple of completions......drive stalls... ...but real tiky taky INT call on Riders keeps it going.... Jones has no challenges left...and he could of used one.... Medlock trots out for 42 yd game winning attempt RIGHT DOWN THE PIPE! GIN RIGHT DOWN MY SHIRT! 7-8 for Justin...the ole LDC curse over and done... Good thing it was the Riders..... ....we may of lost this one..to anyone else..... but points are points....wins are wins ...and gins are called for.....

At least I will never have to see our team ever take the field again, wearing that junk.
