  1. No Patrick Rogers again - maybe this guy really doesn't exist? And looking at that O-Line, I would not want Zach back there for any amount of time. Wilson & Grainger are probably going to have a good chance to show their durability!
  2. Collaros also did not play at all in the 2022 pre-season so this isn't the first time they've done this. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/2023/05/30/collaros-to-sit-out-preseason-tilt-vs-riders
  3. Last year against Edmonton, he played the entire first quarter and then the first 5 minutes of the second. He was the busiest QB with 8 attempts while the other 3 QB's had a combined total of 12.
  4. 5 bees says he winds up on the 6 game IR at least once this season.
  5. He was mentioned as having taken first team reps the other day as the 5th receiver, Most likely not be here next week if the pattern holds up.
  6. Ford had one tackel & returned one punt in the 1st game (12 yards) so he is an actual person, Coleman has been interviewed a couple times a few weeks back but can't find anything about how he's doing at camp. Patrick Rogers may or may not exist...
  7. TBF, he didn't really fumble the pass, it was in his skates and he had a guy right on top of him - he wasn't going to be able to do anything with the puck. It was a bad pass from Zibanejad, who has taken responsibility for it, that put him in a no win situation, The hook I didn't mind as it prevented a quality scoring chance in OT. He either gives that up and potentially lets the game end or he hopes the PK unit can keep them in it. That being said, if you thought it was deja-vu, I'm sure Maurice did as well and was chuckling about how he was glad he was on the other end of it this time! 😂
  8. Yep. Not a Stove-type situation with recurring Achilles tears but out for the season again none the less. https://3downnation.com/2024/05/29/calgary-stampeders-rule-malik-henry-out-for-season-with-knee-injury/
  9. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the following transactions: Released from roster: American receiver Peter Afful American receiver Tyler Adams American receiver Jaylen Hall American offensive lineman Khalil Keith https://www.bluebombers.com/2024/05/28/blue-bombers-transactions-may-28/
  10. That's a big loss for them. Coming back from an Achilles tear to have it (assumingly) happen again does not bode well for him. The league needs all the star players it can get and he was seemingly on that path after his rookie year.
  11. Good to know it's open I was wondering about this place the other day, I will definitely be trying it out soon!
  12. Not surprised he got something... pretty flagrant but certain angles also make it look like a bit of a dive from Rodrigues. If he would have made more contact or actually injured Rodrigues, I'd bet it'd be more than just a fine.
  13. https://3downnation.com/2024/05/27/get-rich-or-die-lion-rap-icon-50-cent-to-perform-at-b-c-lions-home-opener/
  14. I'm also not sold on Stanback being able to bounce back to his previous form, especially on that team.
  15. Does he know which paper he bought? I would not describe the Sun as a trusted source for news...
  16. As long as it's not green!
  17. It actually makes sense this year (assuming they still want a Canadian starter there) - they've lost a couple on the Canadians on the DL (Kongbo, Laurent) from last year so Menard can help fill that hole. Just looking at their stats last year & it would seem that having a fresh DL didn't do too much for them. They certainly didn't run roughshod over they league as they finished near the bottom in sacks with 41 (the L's & Riders tied for last at 40). and 6th in average rushing yards allowed at 112 yards (ahead of the L's, Riders & Stamps). Their terrible QB play did lead their to be on the field the most in the league (33 minutes a game) but that was only 10 seconds more than the Bombers at 32 min & 50 seconds. We had better results despite our lack of depth along the line (50 sacks & 90.2 yards rushing allowed per game).
  18. They would still be quarters. Each one is still 25% (one quarter) of the overall time, regardless if that's an hour or 40 minutes.
  19. Yes and no. Tait said they were planning on moving to younger Canadian d-linemen (Corney & Ekakitie). It sounds like he was their plan B though since they'd been in constant communication with him throughout FA. Good plan because Ekakitie was a bust and got cut a week late while Corney played 3 games, got hurt & retired - Plan A was a complete fail.
  20. 99% of the forum too I would say! 😂
  21. Did that a couple times in the late 80's/early 90's. For the life of me I can't even remember which concerts I did that for though. All that ended with Ticketmaster - now there's pre-sale after pre-sale, bots, and a terrible website to compete with, That being said, I can usually get tickets to the show I want to see. I've been to 3 concerts in the last 6 months with a 4th coming up and I've had roughly the same seats/section for each one. I've only missed out on getting tickets for one so I'm having to keep watching for more tickets to become available or some reasonably priced re-sell tickets.
  22. About time! https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/arts-and-life/entertainment/music/2024/05/23/justice-department-says-illegal-monopoly-by-ticketmaster-and-live-nation-drives-up-prices-for-fans
  23. That kicker we cut last year did pretty well after getting picked up by Hamilton. 😂
  24. Not cut per se, his contract was up and wasn't brough back (at least initially). They re-signed him in late May 2018 so we hadn't even had our first pre-season game yet. https://www.bluebombers.com/2018/05/23/training-camp-day-3-recap-2/
