Truthfully, he's probably a better fit (right now anyway) with the WWE, in my opinion. The angle with Brock writes itself and neither guy is expected to put on a technical masterpiece.

Went to my 1st Ice game last night. Not a great first impression, getting pumped 7-0 by the Oil Kings, but overall we enjoyed it. We'll definitely be checking out a couple more games this season.

Depends on how old your cable box is or what type it is. My older cable box showed MLS soccer but my newer one did show AEW. Either way, it's a good number considering how last minute it was added.

Thoughts on the AEW debut? I really enjoyed it but I wish we would have seen more of Kenny. It would have been a great time to really introduce him to North American audience that may have only heard of him or seen limited footage but I guess you can only fit so much stuff in. It didn't feel like a 2 hour show for me and it went by quickly. Was not expecting Swagger, especially with a mma fight in a few weeks. Huge get for them.

Van Hammer. There was terrible work from both guys in that spot.

TBH, at this point I don't care which QB they bring in. All 3 have their downsides but the last thing I want to do is go into the playoffs with only Strevy & McGuire on the roster, It's not like we'd be bringing any of these guys in to be QB1 but as an extreme worst-case scenario, I'd rather have someone with CFL experience than be forced to sign some random guy off the streets.

From what I understand, they are giving guys creative input but that's different than giving them creative control. Hopefully that will help make a more entertaining product than what having a room full of non-wrestling people are currently coming up with.

I also think it goes even further than guys who are just breaking in. When you brought in AJ, he was already established but Kenny wasn't (at least to non-locals)... people would kill to see that match now. Lots of missed opportunities when you don't go to the shows.

I also doubt Calgary is looking at this as an improvement. I like Flanders but this move is only being made because they lost Carey for the season.

I remember seeing him in Winnipeg way back in the day. One of the reasons I tell people to go check out indy shows is because you never know what future "name" wrestler you might get to see.

Same charges, arrested in 2017 but sentenced in 2019. He did get arrested once for pot possession (which is when the Bombers cut him) but those charges must have been dropped because this was his 1st conviction.

Agreed. The bar has been set by the CFL at 1 game so it might be worth it to give him a taste of his own medicine. Bighill is too much of a class act to do it though so I nominate Hecht since it might be a positive thing to have him off the field for a game.
