The CFLPA could make changes to their system that would make it harder on repeat offenders. An NFL player tried to sue the NFLPA (and NFL) about 10 years ago for not protecting him as a union member. He (and a few others) were singled out and not protected by the PA because they were deemed repeat offenders. The player (Cedric Benson) lost that case so it can happen. In addition to McMillan, the Bombers also added LB Brian Cole. He was with the Riders in pre-season & was released by the L's a couple days ago.

Given all the positions he holds, it's going to be next to impossible to do mid-season. That's GM, HC and DC. Montreal was able to makes changes because they already had people on staff to replace Khari without violating the salary cap. Not sure the L's can do that.

Reid has the highest single game rushing in club history while Walls was CFL ROTY and both guy can be found on club top 10 lists with other very prominent names - I have no problem with either guy in the Bombers HOF. It's not like we're talking about the Ring of Honour or the CFL HOF - neither guy is at that level (IMO).

He's played plenty over the last few seasons. Since that article was written, he's played roughly the same amount of games Kyrie Wilson has (34 for Wilson & 32 for Awe). Other than 2017, which was his rookie season, I don't believe he has been fined by the league.

Wilson also didn't need to be carted off the field like other guys who suffered season ending Achilles tears (like Maston). Maybe he's just a tough bastard and didn't want to go off like that but it stood out to me - I immediately thought Achilles after seeing him go down with no contact on the replay.

My guess:

1) The closest we'll ever get to an official answer was something Tait tweeted - the club likes what they saw from Houston. MOS won't throw a player under the bus so we'll likely never know if there was more to it. 2) A PR spot does not automatically mean a drastically reduced salary - the team is able to pay their full salary if they choose to. 3) If you take the FIFO/go to hell stuff in this thread as anything more than a joke - lighten up Francis. People understand this is a business and players have to do what what they think is best - so does the team.

Kickers miss, it's part of the game. Lewis Ward and Sergio Castillo are two of the best kickers in the league yet they have missed both coverts and field goals already this season. PS - Leggs has missed 2 converts this year, hardly what anyone would consider numerous.
