  1. False. Burris may have been more of a natural runner but Ray did manage to put up decent numbers, in less time. His CFL rushing totals were 3141 yards in 614 attempts (5.1 yard average with a career long 45 yard run). Burris had 5653 yards after 963 attempts (5.9 yard average with his longest being 34 yards). The pro-Ray stats would say 4/4 in Grey Cup games, CFL record single game, single season & career completion percentage. More All-Star nods & 110 less interceptions than Burris. Nobody is arguing that Burris didn't have a great career because he did. They each have statistics that will back up an argument for & against them but I would take Ray 10 times out of 10 over Burris.
  2. I wasn't a huge fan of Flair growing up but as I got older and was able to see more of his earlier stuff, thanks to the internet, the more I was able to appreciate him in his prime. He was a complete package back then and it's amazing to think of the career he had when you consider he was lucky to have survived a plane crash that broke his back in 3 places.
  3. I'm legit curious how you figure Burris was better than Ray. I'll give him credit where it's due though so I give Burris the edge in arm strength, scrambling, cross-dressing and pouting, but that's it!
  4. The magic you can create with MS Paint in under 30 seconds is limitless! 😂
  5. I do too... especially considering the same guy would go on to trade for Drew Willy only a couple years later! Both are mind blowing, but in very different ways!
  6. If it was strictly a money thing, then I agree he should have taken it. His best before date is well in the past but it sounds like he actually wants to give back to the business a bit and pass on some advice to younger guys on the indy scene. He's got ties to Impact (D'Amore & Callis) so I could see him ending up there as well.
  7. Sadly, that's not hard to believe. They didn't see much in Bret initially either, the way he tells it (Cowboy Bret Hart?). For as many great gimmicks as they've come up with, they've also had a ton of duds. Lots of great workers were ignored or over-looked because they didn't fit the mold Vince was looking for. Thankfully, this has changed (to an extent!) over the last number of years. We still get the Baron Corbin's but guys like Rey would never have been anything more than a joke back then.
  8. He was already my favorite Hart. I was a big fan of his in Stampede and was disappointed when he finally got to New York just to get saddled with the Blue Blazer gimmick. His 2nd run there didn't look like it would be much better (High Energy) but he eventually came into his own.
  9. As Varys said to Tyrion, she doesn't like having her authority challenged. Sansa would make a good queen but doesn't seem to want anything to do with the south these days (with good reason).
  10. I'm not sure modern sensibility applies to this series though since it's a medieval fantasy. A lot of things in the show go against modern traditions. Being usurped by a man also assumes Jon would win in the end which isn't a guarantee. Martin has been pretty vocal about being puzzled by people who expect a happy ending for the story when the entire series has been filled with such shocking/jarring moments. He could be setting the stage for an evil or crazy queen winning or he could just be full of **** too and wants to keep people guessing!
  11. I'd assume that wildfire is still in play. Even if she used all she had, I'd have to think she would have gotten the alchemists back to work making more, seeing how well it worked with the Scept and at the Battle of the Blackwater. Dany could quickly be following in her dad's footsteps if she's willing to sacrifice the people of King's Landing to take out Cersei. The battle would then be between the True King vs the Mad Queen!
  12. Has he changed his mind yet again?
  13. I had to do a double take last when I heard Huf say the receiver they wanted (mcinnis) was already gone so they took the next guy.
  14. Right before may the 4th too. 😥
  15. Ferguson doesn't come close to Dunk either though, but he is better than Hodge (IMO).
  16. Interesting, Hodge has Richards going 32nd overall in his mock draft. Who's opinion to trust more, Dunk or Hodge? 🤔
  17. The preview for next week shows that they still have both dragons. Cersei's answer is those giant crossbows that Qyburn had made. The producers added the crossbows to the intro scene - firing a bolt into a dragon skull, so I'm assuming that they will play a factor in the battle as they like to drop hints in there.
  18. 1) I definitely agree with Johnzo that Bran was trying to lure the Night King out. Nothing else I've read really makes sense. 2) The Hound definitely has more to his story. Similar to Jamie, the redemption is one part but dealing with an evil sibling is the other. 3) I dont think she goes north as she doesn't know what would be waiting for her. If the dead won, they would have an even bigger army than before so leaving the safety of kings landing to rush in, is probably not the best move. 4) Most of the characters left still have some story left because until late last season, their goal was kings landing so now they get back to it. My biggest issues was that we never really got to see the night king fight. His white walkers were pretty useless in the end too except for handing him spears to throw. Hell Sam took one out so they weren't all that different from their wights.

  20. Enjoyed the GOT episode. I guess my TV is new enough that the darkness wasn't an issue for me... didn't even realize it was a problem till I saw it trending on twitter. For people who have not seen the episode yet, I'll put some other thoughts behind the spoiler feature
