I dont really care about what the Riders will do and I agree Jones-Murphy will definitely shorten their rebuilding process. Regardless, the Bomber should upgrade their US scouting department. McManus-Goveia-Morris is not delivering the talent (or at least not enough talent) thus far. #BringBackTheMoll

It look like they opened the vault spend a lot on their front office and coaches. I'm guessing their next move would be trading for Franklin.... then tamper and get a deal done with Trevor Harris and sign him up in Feb 9.... then release the high-priced Durant

I did want Cortez, but he's out of the running now. My second choice wouldn't be PLAP. In fact, I'd go with a guy who's never been an OC over PLAP. I guess my new choice is Chapdelaine. Pretty good track record even last year until he lost both Durrant and Glenn. Jones? Nah, he's not been a good OC. I'd take him as a receivers coach tho. Mass? I think he'll be the Eskie HC. The Redblacks wouldn't even let us interview him for OC. Jackson? Never been an OC. I'd take him over PLAP but, I'd rather have him as a QB coach. I'm good with either Chaps or Lapo. The last time Lapo was here, he doesnt have a good and durable QB. Great, we'll find out tomorrow that Chaps is now jobless. Chaps better choice is to go in Ottawa with a durable Henry Burris. I dont think he will go back in Buono's arm and go to Edmonton with will probably have a rookie-HC and brand new coaching staff.

You sound so very optimistic. Maybe 1-8 or 0-9. Look BC and Edm is not really a strong team right now... will they be before the start of the 2016 season? Who knows. That really depends on the OC and DC that they're going to get hired... for sure not much left there. I say Cgy will still remain on the top in terms of their O, their D will be a question mark since they will have a rookie DC in Claybrooks. Expectation on the Riders will probably higher because of the addition of Jones. But how he will manage to put back their Cdn depth remains to be seen.

BC and Edmonton will be fighting for scraps

im not sure if an 'exhaustive' search can be done in the CFL because of it's coaching talent pool. by the time the 'exhaustive' search is done the candidates are already signed by the other teams and the team doing the 'exhaustive' search are left with scraps.

The reality is the CFL coaching pool is very thin. Not so much options out there. Cortez retired, Maas is available for HC only, McAdoo and J.Jackson will follow C.Jones in Sask. K.Jones might end up as BC's OC. Chapdelaine might end up in Ottawa. Stamps is interested to get Dinwiddie. Brady and Condell will stay put.

I still want K.Jones here as QB coach, if it's possible. And Bob Dyce as ST coordinator.

I'm all for that. I believe all the coaches other than MB will be returning next season. So I don't think you'll see K Jones as QB coach. I think whoever the OC will be should have the liberty to select his own assistants. If it's Lapo, I would assume that Howell and Wylie are safe since they have worked with him before. And we all know how LaPo like Pierce. QB coach Dahlquist was brought by Marcel (Omaha connection)... If not K.Jones, one thing I can think is... move Pierce as QB coach and bring Cobourne as RB coach.
