PAIN....... For the opposition!

The Bombers only pick 9th if they are the last place team. You give up the first round, 2nd round continues with same order. The 2nd round pick can range from 9th to 17th. Saskatchewan when Labette and Picard signed, picked Sam Hurl and Ben Heenan, traded for Xavier Fulton and Chris Patrick, found Kory Sheets, and traded for Odell Willis. An aging olineman, a mediocre lb, one legit ni talent and three draft picks? I'm sure nearly every year every team does the same.please give us an exampleRemember when the Riders signed Picard and Labatte when both in their prime? Are you suggesting that no team has signed 3 ni in a season before? Also for the draft picks remember how great Poblah turned out to be? I wouldn't be bragging about the guys we added just yet. I'd agree it's too soon to tell how the signings will pay off. But Walters has brought in more Canadians then any GM in recent history for the Bombers. To that I say well done Kyle! Of course he wouldn't have to bring in all these Canadians if the last two clowns had a hot clue on how to properly draft and retain Canadians.... Agree. Remember the Poblah. Remember Esks got Laurant in the supplement draft can get a outstanding player.

Who got more money from MLSE today Babcock or Braley?

Guy seems genuinely excited to be coming to Winnipeg.

Competition you better bring your A game to camp if you want to earn a job.

Only need 2 or 3 to meet the hype. The others can be SP teams demons.

Leggett is definitely physical enough to play closer to the LoS .. it would give us a tonne of flexibility with NIs potentially starting at WIL, CB and S as a lot of these guys can take reps at multiple positions And you have depth behind the starter in each case. Why we did not go DL at 11. This is how there roster is going to be built with Canadians playing at CB/LB/S

Canadians Brought in this year: C Dominic Picard* DE Jamaal Westerman* LB Sam Hurl* WR Ezra Millington FB/LS Tim Cronk OL Thomas Griffiths OL Quinn Everett WR Kris Bastien WR Jordan Reaves DE Ivan Brown QB Jordan Yantz OL Sukh Chungh WR/SB Addison Richards DB Brendan Morgan FB Christophe Normand DL/FB Ettore Lattanzio LB Justin Warden LB Garrett Waggnor Who's Out: OL Steve Morley SB Cory Watson RB Carl Volny OL Paul Swiston P Mike Renaud DT Ameet Pall LB Kyle Norris DB Donovan Alexander WR Brett Carter LB Mike Cornell OL Gord Hinse LB Kyle Jones LB Rene Stephan DL Ryan Lucas

The bottom 6 Canadians have had a major upgrade in only a year. Hopefully we start seeing some top end talent out of these guys.

Anyone spend a pick on the other guy

It's a position they are committed to starting a Canadian at so you load up on talent.

Craig Butler be a comparable to Waggoner?

The league wont announce it till after the Argo press conference is done

noon

I don't think Braley made to many friends within the organization either. Apparently the staff and players where just about done with him.

because they have there locker and training room right there. There are going to injuries during camp want to be right by where they can get immediate treatment.

At least Bomber have their training camp in the same city as they play.

Its one year. Back to the regular scheduled programing next year. Not the end of the world.

I am a fan of baseball but in the past few years I find I can only stomach a few innings and then I can't take it anymore. Just not enough action. That's the beauty of baseball. You have time to think about the game.

The first two days are but the second two when the Americans don't play are no where near sold out.

That would make no sense since there locker room is just a short walk away from the outdoor fields at the university.

Looking at it on google maps there is not much room to put stand up. The only bleachers there face the soccer field. If they put bleachers would only be room by the endzones.
