I think Posey is done for the season. So, really, we have four corners (Randle, Adams, Frederick, Roberts) and three halfbacks (Fogg, Johnson, Heath). I'd rather keep the depth than start shipping players out. I can't imagine we would get that much in return for an import DB, especially if it's an underperforming guy like B Johnson. Maybe you could move Roberts to a desperate team for a 6th round pick or something but again, I'd rather keep the depth if we can. All of them are likely making low salaries outside of Randle and Johnson.

We don't need a superstar QB. Give me a guy who can put up mediocre stats and win games, like Nichols. That way we can justify giving him a low-ball contract and beef up the rest of the team with the savings. I am the walrus.

I guess iso's point is that Glenn was worth a fourth round pick, and Willy worth a first, a third and a starting international... and the Esks basically gave Nichols away, who is arguably a better QB than both those other guys. They did win the Grey Cup but that doesn't do anything for them this year or into the future... a better return on Nichols may have helped and put them in a position where they aren't fighting for the last playoff spot.

Speculation really. We don't know if there were better players on the bench. No point taking out Kuale for a rookie that sucks, for example.

I think MOS takes a lot of unnecessary criticism for this.... yes, we were subjected to too much Romby Bryant, Ejiro Kuale, Greg Peach.... but the difference between now and then is that we actually have good players on the bench waiting to play, whereas that may not have been the case before. It may not be O'Shea who has changed as much as the players available to him have changed.

Don't forget he was also a game day decision for game one. I'd rather keep running him if he looks like he can play... obviously if he is too injured, fine, but if he can play then he should. No need to play it safe right now. If Harris is down, I'd like to see us split snaps between Flanders and Lochard. That way we can get a look at both of them and also rotate Denmark/JFG in and out of the lineup.

My only other theory is that The Miz blowing up at Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack was 100% unscripted and Miz was actually pissed off at DB saying he wrestled like a coward, and now WWE is trying to run with it as an angle because everyone loved it.
