  1. Funny moment but you'll never see it happen to Trudeau, he only goes to soccer games. Probably.
  2. I don't think you are supposed to belly flop on a guy lying on the turf. Strictly by the rules. But same as the rest of you, I fully approved of it.
  3. 6-game Collaros for the rest of the season with a broken heart
  4. Included in the overall number for these purposes I would assume
  5. Austin is not the GM, the babysitter bandit is GM
  6. Both played poor games while the Riders played their absolute best and still lost. So unfortunately it says we are way better.
  7. Every team except Hamilton, I'd say. You might steal a win from Montreal, Ottawa or the Bombers but probably end up around 5-13 again this year.
  8. Stamps, Esks, Als, Argos, Bombers, and Lions have all looked good at times. Classic Rider fan. The Riders are terrible and it's suddenly "Oh the league is unwatchable"
  9. I think there would probably be about a 150k-250k buffer for injuries and late signings. It's an interesting hypothetical breakdown. But it is hard to make it so pretty like that when you factor in Canadians. You're going to have backups making 100k and some American starters making minimum to 80k, with exceptions for stars like Randle, Dressler, etc. Like for example look at defensive tackle. Nevis probably got a pretty good contract in free agency but Cory Johnson may be closer to the minimum. Then the backups, Jake Thomas and Faith Ekakatie are both making closer to 100k+. And a lot of those backup Canadians we have on the roster are the same way. Thomas Miles, Mike Miller, Trent Corney, Michael Couture, Patrick Neufeld.... high draft picks or veterans on their 2nd or 3rd CFL contract so they're closer to 80-100k+ each. So that would throw off the whole hierarchical structure of the starters making the most, and each backup making less.
  10. I don't believe that. We saw with Montreal and Calgary that anything can happen. Edmonton definitely didn't walk all over the Ticats tonight. That game came right down to the wire after the Ticats led for 59 minutes. All four Eastern teams look capable of winning at any time so none can be taken lightly.
  11. Hazelton for the lock of the week TD yeehaw
  12. Sources say those guys suck though
  13. But not a real fur coat, that's cruel
  14. I'd have a hard time believing that the best Canadian players in the AHL and elsewhere would lose to the Canadian World Junior team.
  15. Walker was working at second-string SAM throughout training camp so I am surprised he is not starting in place of Leggett. Especially since he was already on the roster ahead of Porter, who got more work at HB and CB. Well kid let's see what ya got. Don't **** it up.
  16. Is there an age restriction? I don't see why we couldn't have the best juniors there still, along with the best of the AHL/KHL/European leagues. 80% of players in the World Juniors end up in those leagues anyways.
  17. Same old story with Glenn though. No one disputes he can put up big yardage and strong completion percentage. But he still throws picks at the worst times, and he's a loser more often than he's a winner. A 5000 yard season loses some of its shine when it goes with a 4-14 record.
  18. "Khari's not actually that great, anyone could succeed with that set of receivers." Heard that or some variation of it hundreds of times when Khari was here and shortly after he left.
  19. Which wrestling show has better ratings than WWE?
  20. **** yeah!
  21. Really liked him in pre-season as well. I think they found a good one.
  22. Brian Walker definitely was on the field on a semi-regular basis but it may have only been in dime packages. I wasn't watching substitutions that closely.
  23. It would be very surprising if they stuck with him through 2 bad games then took him out of the lineup after a decent one.
  24. Lesnar is the biggest name in the company (maybe Cena) and he gets paid like it. I was on the fence about going to WWE in Winnipeg on Sept. 30 until I heard Lesnar was on the card.... then you better believe I'm going. And I'm sure there are LOTS of others in the same boat.
