Plan 9 from outer space is what we had in the last 4 - 5 years so I'm just happy we've moved up a few notches to plan C or even B in some cases LOL ...

I wonder if "pride" is a word they'll still be using when his time is done there?

Mike Kelly has been named head football coach at Widener University in Pennsylvania. #Bombers #CFL
Good for him, it's also close to his favourite jail ...

These IGF construction photos are from this week two years ago in 2012 (you know, the year the Bombers were supposed to be playing there).

These construction shots are from late June in 2012 (about the time the preseason was starting). Looks like considerably more was done but with the complexity/scope of IGF not good enough for the team to play there that year.
Tim Horton's Field looks less complex and with favourable weather, you never know, using these pics as a reference, it could be done for late July. Stranger things have happened though (cough 2012 ... cough).

I think most of us don't really care about his age. Our concern is if he's going to be good at coaching CFL QB's instead of the NCAA/NFL type QB's.
I don't care who our QBC is, as long as he's good and can teach them some things to help them progress, I'm all for him.
...and as long as Boltus was just some fluke that he couldn't teach...I'm good.

He worked the last number of years as a "special consultant" ... sounds familiar
He's a prep coach for QBs entering college or the NFL. A lot like what Marc Trestman does during his offseasons. He just does it all year round.
Dahlquist has worked with recent QBs like Marcus Mariota, Zach Mettenberger and Tajh Boyd. He also helped prep Terrell Pryor for the NFL.
Ya, just did that for all the panicky types ... His resume is solid as far as I'm concerned, he's perfectly qualified to be a QB coach for the Bombers. Just glad this team finally entered the 2000's and hired one

Speaking of old QB's ... this pic is crazy and has a CFL HOF in it ... it was taken in 1961, the story is here ... http://thestacks.deadspin.com/fourteen-nfl-quarterbacks-play-nice-in-a-chicago-photo-1472029686/1472553327/@tcraggs22
