  1. I think I know what you're talking about. Google Chrome, always. Click on the dot (for unread only, always) and doesn't necessarily take me to newest. Will slide up for some reason and show older posts . Another odd thing, sometimes the page will "Mark As Read" even when I haven't clicked that. Even if there are threads I haven't read yet, sometimes the site will show them as read. Very odd.
  2. Check the Darvin Adams thread -- lots of discussion on this over there...Chungh on the 1 game IR with Wild...
  3. Since this seems to be the "Week Of..." thread: As per talking heads, no change at practice today. Darvin Adams running with the 1s, Chungh and Wild still out (officially listed on 1 game IR as of yesterday).....
  4. or Calgary....(former Dino).....
  5. I'm going to disagree with "significantly" from your previous post, but it's all good. Hopefully Chungh isn't out long...
  6. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming Moe Leggett, who missed last game with a lower-body injury, was back and working at his usual dimeback spot in the #Bombers defence.
  7. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming O'Shea would not confirm Chungh, Wild, or Adams as in or out for Saturday. Bruce Johnson was working in place of Kevin Fogg at HB. #Bombers
  8. Hell of a draft record, tho...
  9. ha ha -- you just beat me! Delete mine, please. Yes, very exciting news!! This will be a great event for both cities...
  10. Really surprised they'd go with Neufeld over Couture...
  11. Stamps have a long and storied history of being playoff chokers...
  12. Gurley being the new guy, likely the one who sits first.....but I'm not sure it's this week. We'll see what kind of game shape DA is in after the long layoff.
  13. Some nice wrap-up stuff here from Darren Bauming's JetsNation blog... http://jetsnation.ca/2016/10/25/northern-touch-a-special-week-for-winnipeg-hockey?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  14. It's good provlem to have, I suppose. Very curious how they deal with it, but I bet Adams sits this week at the very least.
  15. the entire bullpen was outstanding in the playoffs, and IMO, worth bringing back...
  16. It's interesting that AHL takes a back seat to WHA......I get it, but........
  17. that's awesome to see...great job, 'Tobans! Heard both 50/50 draws were off the charts....fantastic!
  18. JB is a big time declining asset. His D gets worse and worse every year, and in spite of his home runs, his average continues to dip. And seems to be injured more often, as well. If we do keep him around, I sure hope it's not a lot of money. IMO, he's not worth it anymore...and it'd be a waste of cash we COULD be putting into someone else..
  19. Something like 13-4 for visiting teams...I wouldn't put too much stock in losing the outdoor game. The alarming deficits after 2 periods, however.......that's something that needs to be addressed.
  20. ahhhh yes, that is a far cry from true Rapid Transit....but........it's a start. Good for Wpg.
  21. I am really surprised they didn't let JB walk.....but it'll be most interesting to see if EE decides to spurn the offer and just head to Boston or NY for a supposed better shot at winning.
  22. If it's about "Winnipeg hockey", should some retired Moose (Keane, Arniel, etc) have been invited? Also, I didn't realize how far along you guys were with the Rapid Transit thing. I thought the various levels of government were still arguing about whether they'd even do it. That is fantastic that it's going to be up and running by next summer. It'll make a HUGE difference for getting to and from games. I love the C-Train in Calgary!
  23. Edm will beat Ham for sure. Sask will be lucky to get a split with BC, but let's be generous and say yes. Ott would be very fortunate to take either game from Wpg, but again, let's be generous. I still see us in 2nd when it's all said and done...
  24. This was mine, too!!
