Checking in from Saskatoon, SK... Nearly the heart of the enemy. Was out at a club last night in a Jets hoodie and surprisingly didn't get any heat. I feel like this is a no lose day for us. With all the back up's playing, we're not supposed to win. If we do, it's a miracle upset. I feel really relaxed about LD for the first time...

I don't know that that's necessarily true.... I've been a vocal critic of Streveler as a passer but last year vs Mtl, he lit em up through the air. He CAN do it and we've got guys that can get open if there's a lot of man coverage...

Having Wylie for a bit and then a Wylie protégé now running things for the OL has been all the difference, Imo...

He went after Matthews last year but they couldn't fit him in the budget, apparently. Walters definitely would bring someone in if they felt it was the right fit.

He's gonna be good for sure, but he definitely shouldn't be starting right now. My only hope is that he isn't overwhelmed by all of it and it doesn't wreck him somehow. Seems like he's handling it okay but hopefully Neufeld is back soon to really shore things up.

During intermission we walk down our front steps and jump into the lake for a quick dip, then come back up for the second half. Cottage life is all about being tech-free as much as possible. Go old school this weekend with the Bombers broadcast.

TSN Radio talk should go in the thread in Gen Forum..........but no, they don't do well. The ratings posted are not for the demographic TSN seeks, but even still....it doesn't do very well.

I don't think you can call a 1st round draft pick a "diamond in the rough".......the Bombers legitimately believed he was the best OL in the draft, and took him in the first round for that reason. He has looked okay at times, but at other times he's looked extremely raw, like the rookie that he is. He'll get better eventually, but he shouldn't be starting right now.

He doesn't come right out and say it, but strongly implies that he doesn't believe Harris, but is willing to let him admit his mistake and move on. Says he's a team first guy, if nothing else, and will always support a teammate vs a player from someone else's team that gets busted. It was interesting...
