I feel like Collaros and Nichols are similar QBs so ZC can run MN playbook. In theory, things could look a lot similar to earlier in the year with Collaros getting the bulk and Strev running the short yardage and special packages....

It's an additional 1st rounder... Been asked and answered by Walters several times now.

Pinball said he wants Collaros as his starter next year and only dealt him to give him some action and give the Argos a chance to see him play before they re-up him in February. Bombers will not be giving up an extra 1st rounder (on top of the 3rd rounder they already gave up) just to keep him...

I don't even know that that's necessarily true....the numbers weren't good, but I don't know that it was all on him.

Nope...not unless we totally revamp the offense. Masoli has shown he's only really useful in that June Jones Run-n-Shoot offense. That guy's massively overrated and I'd be a lot happier with Matt Nichols, personally. You can question his durability, but Nichols is one of the smartest QBs in the league in terms of processing information and getting rid of the ball.

Again, I'm not going to vilify someone for being less of a fan. There's plenty of people on here that are Jets fans who cheer for the Bombers only when the Jets are in offseason, or only when the Bombers are winning. That's fine...that's their prerogative. There's also a bunch of us who are Bombers above all else in life. And that's fine, too...

without question he never sees it coming (blind side) and it's a frog splash from behind...and the guy ties up his arms so he can't protect himself. The whole upper body "jams", causing the injury. Total fluke and not something you can prepare for.

Unless something weird happens where someone that I'm not aware of becomes available, I'd go into next season with the same QBs. If Nichols stays healthy, we keep winning. If Nichols gets hurt again, then Strev gets more reps and eventually takes over....or he doesn't, and he's out. But I'd be fine going into next season the exact same way we did this year, in all facets of the team.
