If you'd like some random Bombers chatter, here's the CJOB Sports Show which is now going to be half Bombers coverage....somehow........ https://omny.fm/shows/the-winnipeg-blue-bombers-podcast/the-bomber-hour-may-19thMost of what you posted is fine, but BC is one of the least-hit places in Canada. They got way out in front of things and have had crazy low numbers. They had less than 10 new cases yesterday...Misguided pride?? I don't like that tone.... *spits in the general direction of the rectangle*The only real tv news I'm waiting on is whether Stumptown gets renewed... Still nothing on a S2.Toronto is the media capital of Canada, and there needs to be a franchise there for the league to get a media deal. I hate it, but it's the reality. No new cases again in Manitoba. 1 in hospital and 0 in ICU. Really great numbers. Also, this is interesting:any national media that doesn't speak glowingly about our team may as well be taking a **** on them, as far as I'm concerned........ you all should really know that by nowEverything other than the OL was "too many question marks" "lost too much talent during the offseason"....Naylor/Lalji: (paraphrasing): If the season returns, the Bombers are ******... https://www.tsn.ca/winnipeg-blue-bombers-off-season-report-bombers-choose-zach-collaros-now-have-to-keep-him-healthy-1.1477027?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitterI've seen that in a few places. Likely close to accurate. The players don't want to do the Canadian mandatory 14 Day isolation, so the hubs will likely be all American unfortunately for Edm/Van/Tor....Such a shame. Anchorman and American Wedding are what I know him best for, and he was brilliant in both.Oh and no new cases in MB again. Make it 5 days in a row and down to 25 active overall.12-18 months from when Wuhan first broke out would be late this year or summer 2021, so I figure the timeline is right on schedule. It won't be available to the masses until early next year likely, which is about right. Should give the Powers That Be a chance to breathe and say that we can do big gatherings again, gradually.Back in March, I'd been hopeful for a LD start, but then as things got worse I said "no chance", but now I'm feeling hopeful for LD again. Most of my hope comes from the sheet stubbornness of Wade Miller. You try and tell him that something can't be done.......I'M LISTENING TO BOB IRVING AND DOUG BROWN CALL A BOMBERS GAME!!!!!!!!!!Montreal has been sold and the new owner has said they're not going anywhere, and they'll be fine through the pandemic..... so there's that.I read a thing about how the Feds are leery about putting any money into something that might not exist next year. They will only put money into something that is going to run, preferably this year, but FOR SURE next year and the foreseeable future. So, that's where the "politically" comes in.....politically, it helps them a ton to actually play gamesspeaking of masks, I'm more down with this style than the other:So, it's weird, I know........but as I sit out here in west-central AB............. I have a dream in life that I can be home in EastMan, on my boat, fishing one of the many incredible lakes in The Nop or The Whiteshell, while listening to a Bombers game (road game, of course!) on the radio. For now, this will be the next best thing. We're heading out in the boat this weekend to fish some shitty sloughs that they call lakes out here, and I'll be listening to these re-broadcasts on my phone. Close enough......I did know......because I posted it after it was first announced Tonight is the final regular season game.......tomorrow is West Semi.....Sunday is West Final.....Monday is GC post-game show and parade celebration stuff. Each night at 7CST......If think it'll be Winnipeg and Toronto, but who knows. Sask and Wpg would be the most sensible options.^^ I couldn't love that more.....that's amazing...good for the fed employees!
