  1. I don't ever wanna wish a serious, debilitating injury upon anyone, but I'd just LOVE to see 2Jeff2Furious Texas Two Step Rourke right back onto the sideline for a long while and re-think their playoff situation.......
  2. if anyone's Cletus, it's Goober on the BC OL....
  3. He was nearly indiscernible as Penguin in the newest Batman.....did a great job in that.
  4. I love that it's a running joke around the league.....
  5. re: Players leaving........ don't underestimate how many of these guys would LOVE the opportunity to win a GC at IGF in a few years, if they can play that long.
  6. What I wonder about Bighill is if he's the kind of guy who will know when it's time to hang 'em up, or if he's gonna need to be dragged off the field kicking and screaming, kinda like Harris. Even Osh, himself, never retired....just outright refused. He just played until no team would let him anymore. The worst case scenario is a situation like Harris where there's animosity after so many good years together.
  7. Yeah, let Woogie and BOO play if we need the NI for the roster, or let McCrae take Demski's spot if we don't need it to be NI...
  8. I have a lot of concerns about how much longer Bighill will be around..... he's such a key guy in the room, I'd really hate to lose him, but father time catches us all.
  9. when this team plays a game that it needs to win, it finds a way to win. The only time we've lost is when it really didn't matter. But every single time....even when we said "yeah, we're likely going to lose this one..." they came up big (vs Cgy and BC earlier this year). I truly believe in a MOS-led team in games that matter. They'll find a way.
  10. thing is, offense hasn't really been a concern for awhile now.....so getting bodies back there is just kind of a bonus that we don't really NEED. It's on D that we could really use some help, because that's, arguably, been getting worse down the stretch....
  11. Cgy is the much more competitive match up for us, and even them I'm not overly concerned about
  12. I'm definitely intrigued by this because I love Brendan Gleeson, and apparently Colin Ferrell is not so bad in this.... I've never actually seen In Bruges, but because of this, I watched the trailer for it and really want to see it. These two just seem to legitimately enjoy working together...
  13. I can see how you'd make that argument, because Schoen got his targets, but I think you could also argue that McCrae took Ellingson's role when he went out...
  14. No, I'd bet it's almost entirely TSN choosing the half time entertainment, with a bit of input from the league. They're the ones with the money. It'll be a situation where Bell works with the record labels to find an "appropriate" act (who's got an album coming out/tour to promote/hits a target demographic for the advertisers)..... That would be my guess based on (albeit limited) knowledge of these kinds of things...
  15. Also, and it's a minor pet peeve, it was only 28 years of GC failure... we won in the 29th year.
  16. On This Day In History: The Start Of Something Magical
  17. I feel like it should be Moskaluke for the half time show, but Sheep Dogs would be a good one too.
  18. I know it's just the STL back up tendy but the Jets have outworked the previously undefeated Blues pretty badly tonight. Good for them. Love to see the hustle.
