  1. I have no issue putting Lowry out there anytime, any place. He's your tone setter... Nobody gives more effort at all times than him.
  2. Dave and I were talking earlier today about how no team in the league would touch Faj with a 10ft pole...... With the possible exception of Edmonton because McAdoo might be able to recreate some serviceability. Even then, why bother? He was never good at any point, despite what Gappers might tell you. Career 3rd Stringer Cosplaying A Starter
  3. 1.8 Mil.... Not too shabby.
  4. Some interesting stuff in here....
  5. Cried during the players entrance in '19, cried following The Interception last year, and should we be so fortunate as to win at home, I'd probably never want for anything else as long as I live...... (okay, maybe a Lund Pro Guide 1875 with a 90 Honda tiller, but then that's it!)
  6. Chase mentioned this earlier but I wanted to concur, this signing absolutely reeks of "We are all in on winning the GC in our back yard, in front of our fans, to create the greatest party in Manitoba's history".... Here's hoping ZC8 can maintain his level of play a few more years.
  7. Holy **** that is HILARIOUS tht they use the RP clip. **** that guy so much.
  8. ******* love this so much. I call Dobson a "Manimal".... Absolute beast. Hope he's a Bomber for a very long time.
  9. I believe I read/heard that former CFL player (former Bomber???) Rob Crifo is involved in the video review process in some way. Always thought it was cool when players transition into officiating. Didn't Dave Donaldson or someone like that become an official after they were done playing...?
  10. Honestly fellas, he's doing this on purpose to troll ya's. If you just ignore, don't respond (best: use the ignore function to block his posts) it'll all just go away. Don't give it any daylight.
  11. It's the dome... Leggs is still young and learning. Last night was a learning lesson for him.
  12. Gotta say I'm really impressed with the mood around here today. Agreed that we should have won this game, even with as many back up's as there were. Brown didn't look TERRIBLE all things considered, and had some teachable moments. Not concerned about Liegghio at all. As others have said, we SHOULD pump whoever in the WF....
  13. This was a great learning experience for Leggs about kicking in that shitty dome. Not even a little bit concerned about him.
  14. 100% spot on recap. Reminds me of the game in Cgy at the end of last year vs our back up's. How they celebrated that. It was their GC and so is this one for BC.
  15. VAJ has been awful tonight. If not for the Bombers being frustratingly inconsistent, this game doesn't look like this at all. BC isn't playing well at all... Bombers just look like ass.
  16. Y'all be slackin around here..... 9pm CST at the cozy dome. VAJ vs Brown. Lots of interest in what the Bombers back ups can do tonight. Let's gooooo!
  17. I feel very seen right now......
  18. Ain't nothing wrong with a cold 'Hopper on a warm summer day, and the Trad is a great option pretty much anytime, but I particularly appreciate it during fall/winter...
  19. not to continue to derail this thread (of which I'm very proud).......but some thoughts on the beer of it all: -Brazen is fine. The Haze Bomb is what my wife and I drink at the games. It's great. I've been to the restaurant once and I enjoyed it. It was a little "fancy" for my tastes, IIRC, but it was nice. It was the first place I ever went where they had the one giant, open-concept washroom area, completely gender neutral, and in this age of gender fluidity and inclusivity, I thought that was a really cool idea. -TCB is just more like my kinda place. The pizza is great, I love the big long tables, and of course the beer is excellent. The Lamplighter is my favourite core (I'll always favour Reds/Ambers) but they have several that are really well done. It all comes down to personal preference, but as long as you're drinking something made in Manitoba, with "as local as possible" ingredients, by Manitoba brewmasters......then you're doing it right.
