this is an absolutely terrifying DL for every opposing OC in the league... frightening. Until Osh actually makes the move of keeping Jackson over Haba, there's just no sense in getting upset about it. Pre-emptive rage is just a waste of time and energy. You can have your tantrum (and I'm not saying it won't be warranted!!) when and if it actually happens.

finally watched a trailer for S1... I didn't know exactly what this show was, despite having heard lots about it. I was intrigued by the trailer... it almost reminds me of Letterkenny if they focused on the indigenous characters and the so-called "skids". Seems interesting. I'll give it a run for sure, but I'm curious what my indig music friends think of this. I'm always curious if something like this is accurate or if it's a white-washed version of something. Hopefully it's a fully indig production from concept to creation...

I get what you guys are saying about Bailey's ceiling, and I don't necessarily disagree, but I think you're maybe overestimating the depth of some of the teams out there. There's more than a few teams that are shitty enough where Bailey would easily be their #2 guy and pay him accordingly (hell the Riders were going to do just that, and he snubbed them because he's Blue and Gold and **** the Riders)

re: Bailey.... yes he took less to be here. Said he had a hard time imagining himself playing anywhere else. There was also a quote around that time where he said that playing for the Bombers this year would help increase his value next offseason. He would have a better chance of putting up "money" stats this year that would really help him get paid next year. So he's at least thinking about being a star (or at least having a much higher profile) somewhere else... and I certainly don't blame him. I'd love to have him as a Bomber forever, but if he wants to go get paid elsewhere, that's his right for sure.

he had a follow up tweet saying that he's really glad the CFL never went the way of being an official development league for the NFL, and I thought to myself "That's the most pro-CFL thing Dave Naylor has ever said..."

Love Proulx.... English Canadians think he's dumb because of how he speaks, but I think he's actually a fantastic official. Would love to have a whiskey conversation with Osh about his favourite and least favourite officials....

Re: Dauphin... Mr Mike's lounge is your best place and they also have a brand spanking new brewery in town. I'm not sure the status of TVs in there yet but that would be the first place I'd check. Mr Mike's BPs Smitty's (In that order, if the brewery doesn't have TVs yet) Also, not sure it's been mentioned yet but apparently Woogie not practicing (BOO in for him) and Gauthier hasn't practiced this week so Burtenshaw likely to get back on.

This season.... Tom Canada, Gavin Walls and Doug Brown doing everything they could and just getting zero help from the O. Glenn was hurt and the replacements were just awful.
