as a Bombers fan, I will never ever live this down....

I was thinking about that last night... in the moment, I was in on the theme, because everyone agreed that last year was a fluke and no chance that's happening again. Well, guess what? Now, I don't want to see any more bullshit about how anything belongs to us or it's our right or blah blah blah. Over the history of this franchise, we choke in the big game. That's our MO... it's who we are. Most appearances in the big game ever, and most losses. So no more of this "where the cup belongs" bullshit.... it never has.

it was all very very very lazy. I, too, was disappointed. It goes to the lack of respect the network has for the league and its fans.... and the fact that they won't put the biggest game of the year on CTV is the icing on the cake. Some sort of arrangement that involves multiple networks would help a lot...

Letting Faj complete a relatively deeper ball is one of the most embarrassing things I can remember as a Bombers fan in recent memory. It is staggering.

I'm not sure if call it FUNNY but I get you......

Fajardo is a 3rd stringer cosplaying a starter and nothing more. He scored 2 FGs against us in two whole games during the regular season! He didn't just all of a sudden figure it out. He's a career back up who fell ass backwards into being the only guy healthy enough to start when he was 29 years old. He is not all of a sudden a quality QB. He's the same useless *** that he's always been, we just made him look like more than that yesterday because we were ******* embarrassingly awful at times.

meh... that play aside, I'm more than happy with Lawson and what he contributes.

Despise the Als and that organization and Faj did nothing yesterday that makes me think any more of him. He is exactly who we knew he was.... and we crapped our pants on the biggest stage, for the second year in a row. That's on us, not him.

You missed the key part at the end where he says he has so much respect for Osh for giving him that chance....

we'll know what's up with the GM in the next week and a bit, and then we'll start hearing about retirements I'd bet.... we'll start getting a better idea of the big picture before the end of this month.

I've said what I said about Zach and I'm fine with it..... but this is really true. When we sacked Faj to get to 2nd and 18, that should have been the end of it. The fact that we let them not only get out of that 2nd and 18 but score a major from it? That's ******* embarrassing for our entire defense and if not for that, we'd be having WAY different conversations today.

I was thinking last night as I tried in vain to fall asleep (I got there, but man it took a long time) that this was almost easier when there were no expectations of us, year in and year out. But expecting to be great and expecting to win.... then you repeatedly lose to inferior teams in the big game......... it's really really hard.

I was thinking it felt a lot like 2008-ish.. but yeah, I hear what you're saying. It's really concerning with a LOT of uncertainty regarding both management and players. I'm clinging to hope that because we host in '25, they're focused on that and winning there.

Yeah, I'm trying hard to move forward after last night. Start thinking about the offseason. Figure out who our GM is, who's retiring, what's our roster going to look like next year?? Trying to focus on the future, but man, it still really stings yet.....

it's wild to me that there are people in the league who think Kola is a great C, and that leads me to believe we could actually get assets for something that most of us believe is the most replaceable player on the OL, with Eli ready to be so much better next year.

Is our success more to do with a lack of talent in the rest of the league? Like are we only looking great in comparison to some really bad teams...? Just questions.

I know Walters said you can't make wholesale changes but man it really feels like because they didn't make enough changes last year, they're forced to this offseason.

Sincere question that maybe doesn't mean anything in the big picture, but is this still a place potential FAs want to be?
