  1. Kid, you have a lot to learn about the proud history of this team.
  2. Of course we wanted a running back coach. We don't develop qbs. We develop running backs. Think the Bombers would want to do both. Go figure.
  3. They seemed to be the same way, now that you mention it.
  4. Goltz is inexperienced & he's not the problem. The offense stinks & so does the playcalling.
  5. Seems when Joe Mack's overall winning record is discussed, no one ever says how close those losses were anymore. There are no asterisks. They just say he lost those games as a GM. And quote his won-lost record & say it isn't very good. And in 2012, those close losses in 2010 & the fact we went to the GC in 2011 didn't save LaPo's job.
  6. Every game they play we should expect a win. Otherwise why play?
  7. Being close only counts in horsehoes. If a team in the CFL finishes 4-14, no one remembers the games they almost won. They just know they lost 14 games & don't care.
  8. Well watching today's offense, just how can anyone be optimistic? Our expectations are pretty low. When the team plays even worse that that....
  9. Oh Mr Clown Master please clue us in.
  10. 1-5? Bitching? Nah, not us. Whatever gave you that idea?
  11. London & Green the only 2 good receivers they have & now Whittaker's out. Just keeps getting worse in Montreal.
  12. BIG edge at qb. Burris is what is keeping Hamilton competitive. I honestly think they are worse than us & would be winless without Hank. Doesn't mean we'll beat them, though.
  13. Did anyone hear Tim Burke on CJOB after the game. He was happy, almost giddy. You'd have thought we won. He says this team is "On the cusp". Cusp of what, disaster? He also said he thought the offense played a lot better & for us to have patience as we have a "Dynamic team" & "Will do great things once we start winning". Sigh. Now our HC is losing touch with reality.
  14. Nothing changes. Just garbage. Guess we didn't get enough first downs.
  15. They are certainly comfortable to wear when it's hot!! Those little perforations made all the difference!
  16. For a jersey that is 28 years old, in pretty good shape. Mike has first dibs. BTW, if it still fit me no way I'd give it up!!
  17. The only advantage I can think of is our OL is better than theirs since Fabien is now out. Otherwise, this could get ugly for us.
  18. Guy is done. Getting old & had already lost a step. AC, you should have retired when the going was good.
  19. Mike, just tried to send you a PM about the jersey but you aren't accepting any new messages... Want to talk to you privately about it.
  20. Sorry Shankman. Please don't tell me you're a mod here, too.
  21. Mike already asked...
  22. No, gonna keep it.sorry. My son actually when he was a teenager used wall tacks to hang it on his bedroom wall. Besides, it's a cheap knock off. The jersey is fairly high quality but the numbers & name are iron on... They didn't sell premium stitched CFL jerseys back then. You could buy NHL ones but high quality ones were almost impossible to find. There weren't specialty or team stores like today. Used to see fans wearing that jersey at home games back in the day. And Brock ones, Reaves, Jones, West, Murphy, Poplawaski & Boyd as I recall.
  23. That's the problem with a 6 page thread, you miss things. My apologies. I THOUGHT you were serious. Glad you weren't.
  24. What a tool. In Calgary here, one of our stupid daily newspapers (Herald) feels it's their friggin duty to publish one of his columns about 3 times a week during the CFL season because so... many... Rider... fans... live in our city. Screw them. Screw Rod Pederson. Same Rod Pederson who defended Rider fans throwing objects at the BC Lions bench a few years ago at Mosaic.
