Yeah, Jason Kenney is a giant piece of ****, the fact his sham of a party is polling so high is an utter disgrace and makes me think less of fellow albertans

Jason Kenney makes me sick. And what makes me even more sick is the ******* in this province either endorsing the hatred he's spewing or over looking it. Too many people think it's the same PCs we had before, but it's not, this is basically Wild Rose turned up to 11.

Can we stop pretending that our society isn't already socialist? It's certainly not capitalist, even those mighty capitalists get plenty of government assistance.
-
Don't limit me, I have plenty of hate to go around for everyone. Rider fans and fLames get most of it though.

probably just exhausted walking up all those stairs. Perhaps they should install a ramp so he can drive a golf cart up instead.

Seems like what the people want from Trump is a lot less than what he himself wanted to see from Obama or Hillary.... How many hours did Hillary sit in front of sham congressional hearings while Trump gets shielded from all that because they're perjury traps.... Maybe if the guy stopped acting like a wannabe mob boss people wouldn't be so interested in his dealings.

Don't be so literal. I'm not talking about the welfare cheques of any sort, I'm talking about the social safety net as a whole. Health care, education, yes the above items, everything that we do for everyone in our society. Also talking about ensuring that people are paid a fair wage for what they do rather than corporations paying people the minimum and collecting all the profits. Here's an example: The telecoms in this country. They all built their networks on public money, many of them were crown corporations at one point, now they are all private and make gobs of money charging us outrageous prices for their services. All the risks were socialized, all the profits were privatized. Same thing is going to happen with TransMountain when it gets built. Government bought it, assumed all the risks and will sell it when it's ready to turn a profit. Mark H. has summed it up as well. Everyone works their asses off in this world, not everyone gets ahead, most people are just trying to keep their heads above water.
-
Just boot strap ourselves up eh, as if that works. In our system is is rare to be able to bootstrap ourselves up. Easiest way is to be born into priviledge. Rest ofnusbjust have to be content getting by while the rich horde all the wealth and corporations use their influence to **** us all over. I got no problems saying free market should rule, but we're not in a totally free market, the government already messes with the markets. Corporate welfare is a big thing in our country l, why not welfare for everyone?

Plus they are missing the key phrasing too. Russian government. As if the Russian government is the only thing. The Oligarchy has more power than the government.
-
The only person who said no collusion was the AG. The fact that people who worked on the investigation are saying his summary was wrong should be giant clue #1. Here is what the situation looks like to me: there was collusion between the Russians and the trump campaign but there was no smocking gun to tie it to the Russian government. But hey let's see the report to check. The fact they are trying so hard to hide it screams guilt. Really seems Mueller wanted Congress to be the judges. He like America trusted the system but the system was broken by the Republican party being bad faith actors in it.
-
The problem with every system is corruption.
-
There is a simple way to solve all this: release the report to the public and let them decide. You'd think that anyone who was exonerated would have no problems with the people seeing it... unless the AG was lying to protect a Republican president... not like the guy has a history of partisan protection.... on no wait, he does. He let everyone off in the Iran contra deal to prevent people from digging to find out how deep the rot went in the Republican party. The more things change the more they stay the same.

socialist schlock? I don't think so. He wants to lower the minimum wage for people under 18 and alcohol servers! Directly lowering wages. He is rolling back changes to banked OT which lowers the take home wage for workers. You know who loves those options though? The rich people. So tell me why Kenney rolling back things is good for the province? Cuts to healthcare and education won't help. The reason the NDP have to spend so much on them now is because Ralph Klein in his bid to eliminate the debt stopped spending to keep up with the growing population and in 10 years of the boom the population of Alberta grew from about 3 million to 4 million. We still have a huge deficit of infrastructure from the conservatives kicking the can down the road and now Jason Kenney wants to do the exact same thing. I am no socialist, but this province needs to actually invest in itself right now.
-
You are just repeating everything Kenney says, Trudeau, Trudeau Trudeau. If that's all he cares about he should have stayed in federal politics. Kenney has no plans, just empty rhetoric. Wants bigger profits for the wealthy and lower wages for workers. It's in his platform! go look at it.

Exactly the point. Not expecting contact so when someone inevitably bumps into another player no one is ready and the head snaps around and bam concussion.

The new poll was deeply flawed, and honestly my biggest issue with your post is that it was basically word for word UCP talking points with no substance behind it. Mainstreet has been total trash in the past, but when they have a poll that matches others, and reportedly matches internal UCP polling then perhaps they got it right this time? Keep in mind polls always tend to skew more towards conservatives anyway because of the method of collecting data. Pollsters have a hard time with Alberta for whatever reasons, but the trends do show UCP dropping and NDP rising. It's not a seismic shift, but the trend has started to appear, and the UCP haven't cleaned anything up as the campaign has gone on, it's only gotten worse. People are seeing what a **** head Kenney and his cronies are. So tell me, without resorting to talking points and pie in the sky dreaming, what is the UCP proposing that makes you want to vote for them?
-
"that's why girls don't play the game coach" I suspect it's a case of people not being prepared for contact that happens.
-
Kenney plan is great for corporations and the rich and awful for workers. He is actively campaigning for lower wages.
-
Jesus Christ did you at least get paid for this political advertisement? The polls are showing the UCP support dropping, people DO care. These leadership shenanigans aren't nothing, they are indicative of how Kenney operates. Break the law to get what he wants. Let me ask you this, how does slashing corporate tax rates help? Alberta is already the lowest taxed province, all he is going to do is make the rich richer and take away the provinces revenue streams. How does fighting with the federal government and BC governement (which Notley is already doing, Kenney will just turn it up to 11, help build a pipeline? People like you hate to hear it, but in these big national projects you need to work together with people. Also that 52% number, I don't buy it, most polls are showing the UCP dropping support to about 45% while the NDP getting close to 40%, within the margin of error. Now election night might come and we could end up with a UCP government, but it will be closer than you think it will be. People don't like Jason Kenney and they don't like the corruption and social regressiveness of the party.
-
-
The UCP are the skypalace with a view of the lake of fire. All the corruption of the PCs with the hard right intolerance of the Wild Rose. The worst aspects of both parties... and people STILL blindly support these ****** canoes.

I don't think it changes anything for the CFLPA. The American players have always been highly replaceable, this doesn't change that fact at all.
