  1. Another warrior...
  2. If you're referring to the 3rd down gamble, that is on the Bombers, not the officials. It is not offside if the defensive player who jumps early gets back before the ball is snapped unless he touches an offensive player or goes over the LOS. On that play neither happened which is why the Bombers needed to snap the ball before he got back.
  3. Why would you think that given that Hall started Hurl when he was DC of the Riders until he was overruled.
  4. No they didn't. Givens was signed to the PR in late September and Washington has been here since TC.
  5. And maybe looks can be deceiving. He's 6'4" and 215 lbs.
  6. I think the turning point was the Bombers' brain fart of not snapping the ball on the third down gamble when the Eskimo went offside.
  7. O'Shea understands the challenge rules perfectly well and the officials don't give back challenges just to be nice. O'Shea challenged whether Dressler's progress had been stopped before the fumble which is challengeable. He was given the challenge back because the replay official had included that in his review but O'Shea had not been told. The same thing happened in a game involving BC.
  8. Misread your post. When I saw Banks my brain turned returner to receiver since he wasn't their primary returner after Jones took over.
  9. I wanted to give you an up vote for that until your last sentence. But then you did say the same thing about Henoc Muamba when he was here. Good luck next week!
  10. At the very least I would give Nichols the HH. Playing with a calf injury AND a broken finger (thowing hand) shows what a warrior he is.
  11. How is that a knock on Fogg? I think I'm just going to change my signature line to "It's Richie Hall - no 't'" until he's gone.
  12. If Kent Austin isn't fired, Brandon Banks won't re-sign with the Ticats (according to Drew Edwards' blog). Interested?
  13. Richie Hall needs to be fired but before you push him out the door you could at least spell his name correctly.
  14. We have heard these sentiments from numerous players. Walters and O'Shea have turned Winnipeg into a franchise that players want to be a part of.
  15. A number of writers did leave/were replaced in the first couple of seasons however there was also an industry-wide writers' strike during season 2 of TNG and most of the scripts for that season were old ones from TOS that were updated. As a devote Trekkie I am obligated to point out that Piller was brought into TNG for season 3 as a writer by Maurice Hurley. He did become the show runner a few episodes into that season. GR's involvement diminished after season 1 and he had little to do with the running of the series by the end of season 3 although he did convince Piller to stay on after his contract was set to expire.

  17. Bob Irving looks to be in great shape. Vin Scully retired at age 89... 74 is a baby.
  18. It’s already been announced that Reed will be back as GM and he wants to get a head coach hired by mid-December.

"Listened in"!!! It was on speakerphone. Was she supposed to cover her ears and go "lalala" to not hear it. And it was in a limo so she couldn't exactly leave. SMH
