Masoli is probably more well-known south of the border than a lot of NFL QB's, was a starter at a big PAC-12 school and a big SEC school. I think there's a real high probability he goes, and I'm not sure the CFL will be worse for it.

The PI rules encourage yardage but don’t really see a ton of correlation to points. Defenses getting stops and winning field position also can correlate to more points. PI rules currently also are not with player safety in mind...encouraging schemes that favour pass rush and zones where DB’s/LB’s are sitting on top of routes to come downhill at the pass catcher are not helping injury lists.

Paredes is the best kicker. Leone is the best punter. Medlock is the best combo guy. Paredes isn’t even on their list?

Nichols has to get back for the Montreal game here. If not and if Streveler continues to play well and improve I don’t think we throw Nichols out cold to play Calgary or in the playoffs. He’d be the backup and available if needed.

With the amount of free agents it's really hard to see how the 2020 roster even looks from this far out.

Whitehead is the best receiver of the three you talked about. IMO Bailey looks much more polished though. If I had to roster one to play slot it's Bailey. Whitehead's speed can be lethal but hard to get a guy loose who is relying on straight lines. I think we can get Bailey, Whitehead and Grant on the roster though with a minimal impact (lose the DI LB).

Lafrance understands pass protections. It’s why he’s still in the league.

Win at Sask and one vs Calgary pretty much guarantees home playoff game and pretty good shot at first too. In the long run 2nd place might be best spot for a run with bye final week.

Edmonton is a distant 6th and really lucky they had an easy schedule to start (like getting the Als week 1 with the chaos and Pipkin) because the way the Argos are trending they’ll be better than them soon too. Edmonton is terrible...not even competitive against any good teams.

Banks, Adams would be the main contenders from the East. Derel Walker maybe. Begelton is probably the top offensive candidate in the West.

And really dominated 7 of 8 quarters vs Sask without Harris.

Even Kilgore can pile up yards down 3 scores #MOP.

Als should start planning for Esks in November.
