If a QB can see the whole field and set his feet there's nothing the secondary can do in Canadian football. The only way to stop the pass is by rushing the passer.
They ran a bunch of stunts in that half. It takes a bit more work from the ends and doesn't allow as much freelancing, probably not something Jefferson is into.
