  1. Media votes. Most of them share their ballots pretty openly.
  2. The Bombers did Poop a solid because if he was active after the trade deadline he’d be ineligible to play. Easily could have activated him this week with the guys sitting out.
  3. Masoli shouldn't get rewarded for stats he put up against sub-.500 teams, and playing the Argos 3 times. Threw almost half his TD passes vs the Argos. His stats against playoff teams are not good. It would be embarrassing for the league if he's MOP.
  4. Who cares? Those teams are done. Do you celebrate being taller than children?
  5. Foucault totally gave up on that play. Bizarre. How do you keep a guy like that on your roster? Get your QB killed.
  6. Buono gifted Sask two points for absolutely no reason.
  7. Stone age Buono gives up the safety even though there's no wind and Bridge at QB.
  8. Really want the Riders to win this so our game next week is meaningless. Feel like that will convince O'Shea to rest a bunch of regulars. If something is on the line he might not.
  9. Sanchez is an idiot more than anything else.
  10. Bizarre that TSN producer and director didn't switch to different cameras at field level.
  11. That pylon view gif doesn’t show Rogers bobble long before Alexander comes in. He doesn’t control the ball until he rolls onto his back, and the ball is on the field side of the plane at that point. Even if it’s a completion it’s a turnover on downs. The field view from the other end zone clearly shows the bobble.
  12. False narrative. Between defense and special teams the Bombers continue to have the best starting field position in the league, and have since 2016. The offense has started more often on the opposition side of the field than any other team. A huge reason for the number in the “PF” column. And Fogg has a huge role in this for his return work and the turnovers he creates on D.
  13. Easy solution to the controversy is if Rogers holds the ball. By bobbling it and then losing it he puts it in the refs hands. Personally I don’t feel that he completed the catch AND had the ball over the plane. He bobbles it and regained control outside of the end zone and then had it knocked out of his hands. If it’s a completion he’s down at the 1.
  14. Well you'd think if you're part of the team you'd want to be part of the team. Guys like Leggett and Wild have stayed through injury and taken on some leadership roles.
  15. Had free tickets to the Moose game on Friday. You could count the people in the building. Just over 700. Maybe they sold more, but the building sure was empty. I couldn't see the WHL doing better than that here. There's not going to be much money to go around if the Jets are consistent playoff participants.
  16. Reilly has always been a little over reliant on the deep ball, but he's ceased being a quarterback this season. They don't hit anything between a deep ball and a screen pass.
  17. Edmonton just can't do anything consistently well on either side of the ball, other than making the odd miracle catch on those 80-20 balls Reilly chucks up a dozen times a game.
  18. Apparently Brissett will be in the 2020 draft. Applying for a medical redshirt. In my opinion you don’t draft for position, you draft guys that can play and build depth. Then you figure out your 7 from a position of strength and have flexibility. Ideally you have a Canadian or two who can play every position that counts, obviously not looking for QBs.
  19. Plus 60k to replace Dressler’s roster spot, even if it’s a rookie backfilling for guys moving up the depth chart.
  20. Lyles is not a guy I’d take a risk on with a high pick. Olivieira is a beast with the brain and work ethic to match. Lyles can barely stay on a team for a full season. Olivieira is going to beat most of the linemen in strength drills and run like a receiver.
  21. Nichols isn’t going to win us games on his own. He isn’t that kind of quarterback and truly few are. He will be involved in 3-4 big plays a game and if the majority of those go our way we have a great chance to win. If they go the other way we probably lose. We have a defense and special teams built to make big plays as well, turn the ball over. That makes up for what we lack behind centre. We have the best starting field position in the league for 3 years running. If Nichols can manage 3 first downs every drive and the odd big play we easily score enough points to win every game.
  22. Man...this offence just stinks. Lapo has to get the ball moving. Running dive to Harris every first down isn’t going to cut it. Putting Nichols in 2nd and 10 every time.
