  1. I'd bet my life on him being a more productive NFL player today than anyone 5th on a NFL depth chart today (the last or 2nd last receiver dressed). I can't believe some of the teams that run more spread stuff and use more receivers didn't sign him.
  2. Less innovation, more desperation.
  3. Does Ford have a certain length of time to catch on? Before guys couldn't sign to PR and had 10 days after release to get on an active roster otherwise had to report back to CFL team.
  4. I think they literally started like 30 different DB's that season. A mix of guys cast off elsewhere and rookies. Marcus Howell played DB. Geoff Drover played safety.
  5. Rust was also like 80 years old and missed half of each of the two seasons he’d coached before due to health, one was when he was Montreal’s head coach. Those were the days when the organization was extremely poor but also cheap so no one wanted to work here.
  6. Pigrome continues to be unable to execute the wedge. And Ottawa keeps sending him into the pile. Stupid, stupid, stupid. If you're so committed to that play leave Crum in.
  7. Those guys are fringe NFL players. The guys coming up here are basically done with the NFL or never even got a look.
  8. Ottawa, Montreal, BC, Calgary, Hamilton, Edmonton and Sask will all be in the QB market next off-season. There's no chance Crum or Powell are taken into next season as franchise QB's. Both are on rookie deals, those teams will have money to spend on another QB. Fajardo cannot score points at all. They've scored 3 offensive TD's in a game once with Fajardo starting. Their braintrust might be stupid enough to think he's their franchise QB, but they'd be stupid for sure. Maier has been mostly terrible and frustration from Dickenson is palpable in his post-game scrums. If there was a viable move for them to make today to move Maier to the sideline I believe they'd take it. They will be in the market, and they don't have to worry about $$$ because they'll have a trade market for Maier among the teams that don't get Brown if they were able to sign him. Adams is just good enough to lose. I think BC will quite likely be disappointed at the end of this season and will be tempted to make a change at QB to someone with more consistency as a passer. Adams will get ugly like Fajardo as his mobility wanes with age. He can't play from the pocket.
  9. Powell's major weakness is low mobility/athleticism. If he gets moved off his first couple reads and has to get out the play is basically dead. He is really ideal for the more "West Coast" style scheme which is what Milanovich will fall toward schematically anyways, drop and fire. Shiltz will be a nice complement as a role player to run more of an option package.
  10. Liegghio's kick looked about 6 feet wide. Where is that camera?
  11. Winnipeg and Toronto are firmly in control of each division. BC and Montreal is next tier. Everyone else but Edmonton in next tier until Edmonton wins a couple more.
  12. Every single Liegghio kick has pulled hard right at the upright.
  13. Would need some help now. Offense won't be able to score that much. Dirty facemask there. Grab and a pull.
  14. VA back to the Fajardo tier.
  15. Hollins just dropped as soon as he felt any contact.
  16. They've got dances ready for special teams tackles!
  17. Donut is just their base defense. Took the league half a season to realize that meant they have nothing in the middle.
  18. Butler making sure Liegghio can't lose this one.
  19. Betts represents everything the rest of Canada hates about Quebec.
  20. Hamilton's gonna get a pick six tonight.
  21. Betts real excited for sack after getting ass kicked up and down field.
  22. Book is out on the Lions. Be the hammer and put them on their heels.
  23. He's had one decent game this entire season.
  24. The thing with someone like Fajardo at this point is he’s not getting better. So if he’s not giving you a decent shot to beat the teams you have to beat to get to the Cup, why bother with him as your #1? His strength was the broken down plays and running around. He’s either unable or unwilling to do that stuff at this point. He’s never been able to do straight drop backs and make 3-4 decent throws in a row to lead a drive. So no point in sending him out there.
