Als @ Argos
ook, J-Crompt, you gotta tuck in that ball.

Als @ Argos
For a guy parachuted into the starting role with no training camp, I've been pretty impressed with Crompton.

Redblacks @ TiCats
After watching the first quarter, I'm really not that bummed that Wallace Miles got away in the expansion draft.

Riders @ Als
Those 13-yard lines do look pretty cool.

And Tino tosses a pick. Is he gonna get the whole game or do we see Doege? Joseph even?

GDT Bombers and Eskies
Not feeling good about this one today. Expecting the worst, hoping for the best.

Riders @ Als
Crompton seems to be forcing a lot of balls into tight coverage. Got lucky with the pass to Carter, but either he's making bad choices or he's not getting good options.

Hamilton @ Toronto Oct. 10
Oh yeah, Austin called out Sinkfield big time. "He was clowning. We have some players who need to grow up, he's one of them."

Kelly benched instead of Romby
Kelly's been great in the short passing game lately. He's averaged 60 yards a game our past four games -- in fact, he's averaging a couple more yards a game than Denmark is. Whatever his shortcomings you can't say he hasn't been productive. I dunno, maybe you want your big import WR to be more than a reliable checkdown. Maybe he's just getting open because of all that space that Romby's opening up for him.

Hell yeah. Glad to see it. All credit to the Argos, but that boneheaded play by Sinkfield looms very large. Huge unforced error that took four points off the board. If he doesn't turn to look at the Argo bench, likely all those Argo heroics would have been futile. Also Ray ran a bunch of QB sneaks. Weird to see a starter doing that in this day and age.

Ouch. That was Redblack-ish.

Gutsy call by Burke, blitzing the HB when the Cats are close to FG position...

Hamilton @ Toronto Oct. 10
HUGE PLAY .... and there's still time for Hamilton to come back. Lovin' it. Strange that a game with so many penalties is as entertaining as this.

A great finish brewing here. This has been one of the best games this season. Glad to see Collaros and Ray putting up some good numbers.

That pick-6 drop will be your TSN Turning Point.

Lawless: Bombers need to sign Ben Heenan
I think the more realistic situation is the Riders dump Picard to afford Heenan. Then we can pick up Picard and Tim O'neill and continue on with a terrible OL. It's the Bomber way. This theory has merit. With younger and cheaper replacements at center in Clack and Watman, Picard could be a guy that gets moved. As far as Heenan, I'd fall off my chair if he doesn't sign here. Where does Picard play? The one thing we don't need is another centre.

Sweet zombie Jesus this is way beyond stupid. If someone wants to go to free agency, you can't stop them. That's why they call it free agency.

Time To Make Carl Volny The Number 1 RB And Use Stoudemire On End Arounds
I think Grigsby has been finding and hitting the gap faster in recent weeks, but he's still got big trouble fighting through contact. I hate seeing a feature back go down due to a forearm-on-ankle tackle.

Interesting Quote in Pentons weekly CFL Blitz
Only way I want to move on from Marcel is if someone who is a no-brainer upgrade like Cortez comes along.

I saw that Mastodon / Opeth show. Went mainly for Mastodon, I own a couple Opeth albums but wouldn't call myself a fan. Mastodon was good as always, but Opeth blew me away. They were touring their super mellow Heritage album so I was expecting a lot of people in the crowd to be yelling at them to play their older, heavy ****. But the dude had the crowd spellbound with the beautiful and haunting new material, cranking up the tension and expectation ... and then, towards the end of the show when he did get around to playing some old favorites, the place went absolutely bananas. One of the best metal shows I've ever seen. Hell, one of the best shows period. Still not a fan of Opeth's recordings, for some reason they don't satisfy, but I'd definitely go see them live again.

What games are you looking foward to? Asking because I haven't yet seen any compelling reasons to upgrade to a next generation console. Seems like the games just aren't there yet, it's just more of the same, albeit prettier.
