  1. yup - Ray Jauch was a good coach but he kept running into the Edmonton juggernaut of the late 70's early 80's. It was up to Cal Murphy and Mike Riley to bring it home.
  2. I remember one game in Calgary where he basically beat the Stamps single-handed. Just ran all over them. And they were a good team at the time. Congrats to Andrew Harris, hope you play long enough to catch Geroy too!

  4. One more yard and that FG was going through...
  5. And the ref. Just brutal.
  6. Massive holding going on on that Hamilton TD. Both coaches seem to be trying to lose this game....
  7. The master at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
  8. That might be it for Orlando...
  9. And then Shitz throws an INT...just awful.
  10. Lol guy falls down on the 10 yard line running back a punt. Hamilton just can't get a break this year.
  11. Wolfville is beautiful. Loved our visit to NS last year.
  12. Ok Andrew, time to pass Milt... And them I can stop watching this game lol...
  13. Yeah these two teams are dumpster fires.
  14. Cofaj looks demoralized.
  15. Milt still has the speed!
  16. Now I wish I had hit him with my car in the parking lot at University of Calgary lol (Just kidding, Doug's awesome)....
  17. Roslo didn't want to play here anymore. Neither did Laine. Kind of tough to do a trade when you have non-performing assets that have to be moved versus having them performing.
  18. As much as Fanny has been a giant fail in the CFL he does own the distinction of being the only QB on record to out-duel Zack in a Bomber uniform since 2019.
  19. I went to a Flames-Jets game years ago in Calgary (flying in from Kelowna) and during the game they announced that the Flames had signed this Gaudreau guy and there was this huge cheer from the crowd and I turned to my Flames fan buddy and said "who?" and he said that he was the future of the franchise. I don't want to engage in schadenfreude here as all Canadian NHL franchises have to deal with this reality - the US teams are going to entice away our talent, especially any US players that want to play in their own country. Are we going to be able to keep our guys? Who knows. Will Edmonton be able to keep McDavid when he becomes UFA? I doubt it.
  20. Apologies for the language but this was funny....
