I got spoiled by the Mike Kelly football show and so now it's extremely boring. When O'Shea starts offering to come over to peoples' places of work to help them salt the fries I'll start listening in again....

You listened to the Coach's show? I gave up years ago.

I hope that he didn't lose his house here during the wild fires.

I vote for this guy:

Schoen

FRIESEN: Dirty players, dirty tricks and a clueless CFL (msn.com) Somewhere Bluto is laughing right now....

Got a pic with Buck taken back when he was the starting QB. Ran into him at his restaurant (I think it's closed now) and though I hated to bug him I went over and asked for a pic with my nephew and he immediately said yes and we went into the front entrance area and took some pics with him. Years later same thing happened where I ran into Andrew Harris at the St. Vital Earls, and he also agreed immediately to a picture with me. CFL'ers are the best!

I thought I read that he was so used to it after 29 years that he wasn't going to go back to pants. But hey whatever floats your boat! I regularly shovel snow in Kelowna in my shorts but it's only usually -5C tops so it feels refreshing. I can't imagine doing it in -25C with windchill, crazy!

This may go without saying but my stress levels have dropped substantially since the drought was finally ended in 2019. For awhile there I was worried that we were actually cursed and that my dad wouldn't get to see another Grey Cup win in his lifetime. Twenty-nine years is too long to go without a Cup, and I can't even imagine what a basket case I would be right now if we hadn't won in 2019 and 2021. 2022 GC was a kick in the groin for sure, but can you imagine if we were at 32 years of drought at that point, and lost to the Arblows because of a blocked FG? It would have been border-line suicidal for a lot of us. Anyway, I still want to win the GC every year with the intensity of a billion suns but at least I don't have that "we haven't won since 1990!!!" voice screaming in my head now all year during games and especially during playoff games. And thank goodness for that!

Neepawa lol

What about Yoshi - does he live year round in the Peg too? Just curious.

Biggie and Neufeld would be tough losses but at some point you've got to move on.

Back in the early 80's I always expected a loss against Edmonton and I was never disappointed.

Might be time to start cycling out some vets. I am hoping the Mafia know what they are doing here...I would hate to lose Schoen to the Argos or something dumb like that.

No it was All Dressed chips...that's what LetterKenny taught me anyway..... it was Relic you really had to watch out for, especially if you were sitting in Molly's Reach having coffee....

and if you pick an OL and they get a TD you automatically win the pool.

his signing was foretold by the Subway napkins....

Schoen please

I think that was the Edmonton game that year. The D kept stepping up and Tee Martin just couldn't do squat. The Bombers lost on the last play of the game, gave up a FG or something. It took me a few hours to calm down I was so pissed after that game. I think Tee Martin left soon after and the Kevin Glenn era began.
