  1. mine did too - the Roc is solid gold for this contest.
  2. Rory Kohlert - should have taken him in my fantasy this week as he's going to want some pay-back.
  3. I am hoping for a repeat of 2009 when a soon to be CFL super-star Stefan Lefors led the Bombers to a crushing 42-30 drubbing of the hapless 2008 CFL Grey Cup Champion Calgary Stampeders, on the back of future HOF'er Lavarus Giles's two TD's and the sweet foot of kicking sensation and international man of mystery Alexis Serna. What a game!
  4. I wonder how drunk Elizabeth May is right now celebrating?
  5. Kamar Jorden - or whoever is up against the Roc this week in coverage
  6. really really disliked Kelly as a coach but that game I went to in BC where Fred Reid and Yveson Bernard went wild and ran rough-shod over the BC Lions defense was one of my favorite games in the last 20 years, almost as much fun as the game I saw where Ty Jones turned Roy Dewalt into a frightened panicky teenage girl. Not sure why everything came together for that game, but it sure did.
  7. Is it that hard to believe though? Much different job. I am sure Mike O'Shea would be the first to say it too. Speaking of which, so glad we had the patience to stick it out with MOS's learning curve for three years. Finally paying dividends IMO.
  8. Statistically speaking in terms of winning percentage its Jeff Reinebold who gets the doughnut for worst coaching record of all time (note the spelling, there's an "e" in his name that everyone always seems to forget.) Next up is Joe Zaleski. who I am too young to remember. The first Bomber coach I remember was Bud Riley, whose greatest gift he ever gave the Bombers was his son Mike. What is sad is that we haven't had a coach with an above .500 record since Doug Berry. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Winnipeg_Blue_Bombers_head_coaches The number for O'Shea isn't correct BTW, his win total doesn't include 2016 numbers. Factor 2016 in plus the win on Saturday and he's at 43.6% so slowly getting over .500. Hope he makes it there after this season is done!
  9. Did salary caps go way up this year and I miss the news? I just don't know how these teams can afford to pay these few guys this kind of money and not have to field two lines and two sets of D men made up of AHL scrubs to make up the difference.
  10. I think that will probably go down as the best game the Riders play all year. Straight down-hill now as the momentum of losing starts to really kick in. Have seen this far too many times with the Bombers too. The only thing that can stop the bad momo is good leadership, and we all know how comfortable Kevin Glenn is with losing.
  11. call back Terence Frederick. Not sure why he got cut in the first place, especially when I see "the Roc" out there going for a leisurely stroll all game.
  12. He's nailing everyone in sight? Who is he training with, Patrick Sharp?
  13. Loffler just has to nail him as he goes out of bounds and he will go completely mental like last year when Loffler hit him. 15 yard roughing penalty early in the game = Carter totally eradicated as a threat.
  14. 3,000 more people than were at the Argo game yesterday.
  15. got dragged by Mrs. KBF to a Peter Cetera concert in Palm Springs in February, and not a word of a lie, Mike Reno was a surprise guest. He came on stage and did an impromptu "Everybody's working for the weekend". He looks like he's been mostly eating for the weekend.
  16. even worse, they are the opening act, opening for Honeymoon Suite and Glass Tiger...
