You have completely ignored the basic economics of how our society operates and based your entire argument on emotion. The same people advocating for destroying our economy by immediately jumping to "renewables" (especially the never economic wind, solar and tidal power) are the same ones who can't do basic math, and should be kept as far away from the corridors of power as possible, as these are the people who are truly dangerous to the survival of mankind. I just wanted to say that I don't think that moving off of fossil fuels CAN'T be done, it's just going to take a long time and a lot of patience. James Hansen is advocating for nuclear power, and I agree with him. He's also taking issue with the current stance of the Democratic Party on man-made climate change.
