  1. Slingin' Sammy. Do you want job security? Marry Cal Murphy's daughter lol.....
  2. I would say it disappeared in broken dreams and shattered hopes...but not anymore.... I concur. Suitor is a fan of the game and he was just speaking as a fan there. Don't hold that against him at all. I can just hear Matty on that play..."woo hoo hooo"
  3. Where is old Nate these days? I miss him, kind of like I miss that abscessed tooth I had a few years ago. Is he still running his shop in Osbourne Village? His only redeeming quality - he sold vintage Bomber merch if I recall correctly.
  4. If you are going to bring math into this discussion about the Riders achilles injuries, at least say that while having 62.5% of all achilles injuries seems high, it's still no where near the percentage of Saskatchewan people who marry their cousins.
  5. Is Berdin ever going to be given a chance to make the jump? We need a new Bulin wall!
  6. Just promise at some point this season to buy a Schmidt Jets jersey and all will be forgiven lol....
  7. That didn't age well...
  8. I heard the Jets are inviting several centers to their training camp in the fall. Conclusion: The Jets are not happy with Mark Scheifele.
  9. If you are unhappy, you assume everyone else is too.
  10. And in a related question - will BMO Field in Toronto have more than 15,000 fans all season?
  11. Charles Nelson (wide receiver) - Wikipedia His wiki says that it was a foot injury. and Sunseri is the future of the franchise at QB...
  12. In KBF's media room there was an audible gasp, followed by:
  13. Yes, can't really say that he didn't have enough time to rehab it....lol
  14. In that June 27th 2019 game Charles Nelson was our return specialist. I see that he is back. Who do they go with, Grant or Nelson? I realize this is where being able to see training camp would help a lot.
  15. I re-watched the June 27th 2019 game again, where we beat Edmonton (barely), and the Reklaws were the half time entertainment (lol). Kind of a messy game, amazing how much offenses in the CFL improve as the season goes and the timing starts to click much better. Our receivers at that time were Chris Matthews (I was like what? I forgot all about him), Darvin, Lucky W., Wollo and Demski, with Petermann also getting in a play or two here and there. That's not exactly an overwhelming cast of characters, though Lucky got two TDs for us in that game and looked like he was going to light it up at the time. Good to see the Bombers really focus on getting more depth. By the end of 2019 I thought our receiving corp had gotten much stronger, and it's only gotten better since then, I'd say.
  16. I think we witnessed this happen in real time this season. "Back-checking? We don't neeeeeed no stinkin' back-checking....."
  17. I agree, the same that happened to Harris just happened to me mowing my lawn this morning...Crown may start flowing a bit earlier than usual today...lol don't turn me into the Germans! Demski played like a man on a mission in the playoffs. He definitely displayed another gear and the heart of a lion during those 3 games that I'm sure Osh just loved to see.
  18. I could watch this blind-folded and still tell you which play is coming up next...lol...
  19. always my favorite part of camp. Hearing about all the potential newbies and what they can bring to the table.
  20. I definitely see Ottawa leading the league in field goals. And field goal attempts. Without a doubt. According to my schedule that date will be Sunday, December 12th, 2021. I really hope by that point Strevs is back with us as well, if only to see him in that fur coat once again in the parade....
  21. why go for 8 yards when you can get 6?
  22. I am looking forward to meeting him one day. My neighbour played for him in Toronto and says that he would have run through walls for the guy. So obviously that's way more important that being a media darling.
