2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)
Honestly I'd never thought of the deal as anything that amounted to much. Certainly for us, but I really didn't see a great profit for the Bombers in it. We had to pay a price for a guy who some thought may have become our next starting QB after Ricky finished. He absolutely did not. Bombers have the most wins in the league and 2 'Ships since then. Was the trade a fundamental part of building that run? I'd say not. People are welcome to disagree.

2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)
I had no idea that anyone held Faith Ekakite, TJ Heath and Daniel Petermann in such high esteem. For me, I was hopeful that Willy could have been another successful graduate of the Ray/Milanovich/Brady era where we seemed to be supplying half the league with QBs. Turned out, notsomuch.

This debate about Willy and Evans has drilled home to me that the next 3 months can't elapse fast enough.

This wasn't about the quality of a team's picks or their national players. Just about who is retaining their picks.

Count me in the minority that wouldn't be the slightest surprised if Harris still has some good football left to show us. ...now whether he is able to display that in this season's edition of the Riders... I'm skeptical.

Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season
South Carolina Gamecocks... that brings back a memory. 2008 International Bowl at the Rogers Centre. South Carolina Vs Ball State. My Argo ST buddies and I went to sit in the cheap seats in the 500 level and had huge banners made saying "Go Balls" and "Go *****". Weirdly, they made us take the ***** one down. edit: looks like we were actually in the 200 level... I thought I remembered being in the nosebleeds. I blame the $15 beers.

CFL Teams According to AI
IDK man. You'd have thought that the AI would've grabbed our Argo with Shield logo from a few years ago and done a rendition of that guy.

Or add to it... People would pay good money for that sort of body mod. Think of the views they'd get on the Tok.

The Lion should be a mountain lion. The Stampeder horse has 3 legs. The Alouette looks to have a jetpack... ok, maybe that'd be cool. Does that Elk have fangs? The rough rider's uniform looks anything but rough. And look at the horse's back legs planted while the front are floating... just looks off. Is that Nick Offerman's younger, butchier brother dressed as a lumberjack? And the Argo one... uh... ok, Poseidon has like, a lot of abs. But the Bomberbot is a clear homage to someone's favorite Nintendo game:

As a citizen of the Greater Toronto Area, I reserve the right to be maximally offensive when discussing the various podunks that the rest of Canada inhabits. I likewise will take very little umbrage over what those bumpkins think about the Centre of the Universe.

There are efficiencies and overlaps that Quebecor can exploit. It'll still be a money loser, but it can generate revenue across their platforms in different ways. Like a small scale version of Rogers and the Jays.

Covid-19
I don't see how what Woody said was a conspiracy theory. Pharmaceutical companies did work with governments and the media to establish lockdowns and vaccination treatments against a gain of function virus that they themselves secretly created. This isn't a conspiracy theory... it's a conspiracy series of facts. We all just lived through this. Then the media spams me on Sunday with 1000 of the same article decrying Harelson's Anti-Vaxx conspiracy... as if to prove his damn point.

https://twitter.com/TSNScianitti/status/1628840078297505792?s=20 Talk out of the Argos is pretty much everything you'd expect right now. Maybe they even believe it, but even if they didn't they'd pretty much have to say what they are saying: -They were aware of MBT's plans for some time -They are comfortable with Chad. Chad is a Chad. Me? This is where I am right now: Like if Team Red Bull built the best car in Formula 1 and Verstappen leaves them and they just give the keys to a promising driver who has only been in one F1 race. Unthinkable.
