  1. Canola spiked at $23 per bushel last year - it's down to $13 per bushel. Cooking oil went up x 4 last year - that's where it's mostly still sitting.
  2. I don't think that's possible. I mean, of course there will be exceptions. But the skyrocketing cost of food and other consumer goods, make increased theft inevitable. When poverty rates are already high, you get the perfect storm. In Manitoba and in other places as well.
  3. ^^ This is happening in many places, as is the closure of 7-11s
  4. Holding: I have long been of the opinion, that only a certain number of holds are called, by choice. It has unofficially become part of QB protection.
  5. Definitely. They could even start 4, if they wanted to.
  6. A smack* yes There are ways to counter what the Argos did yesterday. And the crazy thing is, with the usual version of Castillo, the Bombers probably win. We sometimes forget that it's a damn tough sport to play. There aren't that many good teams. BC is a dumpster fire. The Riders are starting nickel and dime Harris - that's the competition in the west.
  7. Finishing first is not a necessity. They might even be better in the GC, if they don't.
  8. I'm with you, Rebus. It's obvious that the Bombers need to do things that will help the OL, especially against stiffer competition. We have a shut down D, especially the secondary, and no one has a better QB.
  9. West final is pretty certain to be Bombers vs. Riders
  10. There's a lot that can be appreciated about that era - Roberts, Stegall, Brown, et. al. It was what it was, more good football than bad.
  11. If we're doing Taman trades, the one for Alex Gauthier was a gooder. I believe he swapped an American OL & a pick.
  12. And got under the skin of DBs in the GC. #comedygold
  13. I was the same. But for me it was more watching the secondary completely befuddle BLM...that was immensely entertaining.
  14. Yeah, the Argos tend to have good OLs, more often than not. I guess he's one of the beneficiaries
  15. Fake voice is unfortunately a thing now - the more you can make it crack - the better.
  16. It's all good, just pulling your leg.
  17. Unoriginal, though.
  18. No one can milk a joke, quite like KBF
  19. Pretty much waiting for a clip of someone patting him on the head.
  20. I've only watched BC when they played the Bombers. Rourke certainly had adequate steamboats in that game - just did very little with them.
  21. Pretty sure they mentioned both streaks in the first Q. Also had a segment on Stanley Bryant.
  22. With all the advantages offenses are given these days, the D is really playing outstanding. And, we heard again on here before and during the game: "The ti-cats know our weakness is up the middle, they will exploit it." Yet, game after game, they shut the door.
  23. He's right. It was over the top. Still is.
