  1. If thats the case they got exactly what they deserved. They = ???
  2. Daley, like Harris, just happens to be from Winnipeg.
  3. Pretty much every team is at a disadvantage to BC in this regard. I agree they should make juniors part of the draft.
  4. Wasn't one of the reasons Harris went to BC was to get away from bad influences or something of that nature? Yep.
  5. ^^^ totally agree with the premise, but it would never have worked with Harris.
  6. Gang members attacking the Rough Riders in Saskatchewan? This gang doesn't want to live very long does it? Seriously, how stupid is that. This reminds me of the time that Graeme Bell took a bat over the head outside a bar in Saskatoon. What the hell is wrong with the people of Sask? Aside from being cousin-raping inbreds of course? This is going to sound weird in Saskatchewan (imo, anyways) but it was a group of Somalians.
  7. In fairness to Smith/DA, I've heard from a number of people I'd trust about stuff like this that it's not as bad as it seems. Without starting too much of a rumor, I heard a number of Riders (more than just Smith and Anderson) were attacked by a group of gang members (including one guy with a bat) outside a club and there was a huge brawl which the Rider players essentially "won" and this one "victim" took a pretty serious beating.
  8. I had to laugh when I went on RF and saw that a couple posters thought aggravated assault meant assault you were provoked into.
  9. Saturdays only would be best, imo
  10. Blows my mind that they won't let Washington return punts, especially when Jovon doesn't exactly scream ball security either.
  11. I've never found jerseys to be too short, I'm 6'4 myself and they're one of the few items out there that aren't ridiculously short without being twice as wide as it needed to be. I've never wanted to get a jersey over a parka so maybe I'm just ok with it fitting more like a tshirt than something big enough to wear as an outer layer. God damn giants.
  12. Little bit off topic, but it really doesn't take much to stay in shape. My main pet peeve as someone who visits the gym 5x a week is this "fat acceptance" movement that has hit society lately.
  13. Somewhere, Cory Watson is breathing a sigh of relief.
  14. I don't mean to criticize your efforts, but showing us that Goltz managed 12 passing yards on what I count in your description as 7 offensive possessions isn't exactly a good argument.
  15. 1. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, OL (McGill) 2. Devon Bailey, WR (SFX) 3. David Foucault, OL (Montreal) 4. Pierre Lavertu, OL (Laval) 5. Adam Thibault, DB (Laval) 6. Beau Landry, LB (Western) 7. Max Caron, LB (Concordia) 8. Andrew Lue, DB (Queen's) 9. Sam Sabourin, LB (Queen's) 10. Derek Wiggan, DL (Queen's) 11. Kris Bastien, WR (Concordia) 12. Casey Chin, LB (Simon Fraser) 13. Kit Hillis, WR (Saskatchewan) 14. Josh Burns, DB (Windsor) 15. Matthias Goossen, OL (SFU)
  16. Ship them both out, problem solved. More like problem created
  17. I don't know why. It's weird to me how everyone bases their impression of the offensive linemen in this league off reputation alone. Guys like Tim O'Neill, Jeff Keeping, Chris Van Zeyl, Justin Sorensen and Marc Parenteau have really stepped their game up and developed themselves into very serviceable players despite a lackluster start to their careers. On the flip side, guys like Dmitri Tsoumpas, Andrew Woodruff and Josh Bourke have seen a pretty decent drop off in play yet they're still treated like gold in the eyes of most fans. You forgot Jovon Olafioye on your second list. True. Was focusing on non imports but he definitely applies as well. Won't be too rough on him though, doesn't he have a pretty serious medical condition?

I know what you're saying but I'd still take Tsoumpas over anyone on our offensive line. I absolutely would too. But he's certainly not the same Tsoumpas he used to be.

  20. however Durant did also get sacked 8 times... Perhaps you're guilty of remembering the times Durant was able to get away and for Goltz you're more focussed on the times he was caught. But Durant was back to pass a hell of a lot more. Goltz got sacked 7 times on 15 pass attempts, thats horrific. 7 times on 24 dropbacks as opposed to 8 times on 42 dropbacks. Just for accuracy's sake.
  21. Had to cut 14 posts from this thread. Enough with the arguing about who is a bully and who isn't. Enough with the name calling. Focus on the opinion, not the owner of the opinion.
  22. As per Twitter release Spent time with NYG and SD, he's 5'9" 190 lbs out of Southern Methodist.
  23. It's all awareness. From what I've seen, the things Goltz struggles with are the things that you improve with experience.
  24. Car wreck
