Probably. I think I'd rather have Chiles or Ernest Jackson anyways. Actually, I'd take any of them. I don't think you can really go wrong with any of those choices. Chiles had 475 yards in 8 games last year. That's an impressive 1070 yard pace. Very underrated receiver in this league, imo.

Just another thing worth noting - I think it may have been mentioned already - but I'm pretty sure Darren Cameron was on holidays last week. Could explain the lack of an announcement. They'll want him there to coordinate a presser for sure.

We did it for Nick Moore. And I'm not opposed to doing it. But there's better value out there. MUCH better value. If we really want a receiver, let's go out and get one in free agency. While everyone is battling it out for SJ and Dressler, let's sneak in there and grab Chiles or Ellingson. We don't need a number one or two. We need a number three and those guys would be great in a WR3 role. Going after Green wouldn't be the first, second or third thing I'd do in free agency, but if all the big fish end up on someone else's hook and we have a fat roll of bills in our pocket with no one to spend them on, arming Willy with Denmark, Moore and Green is something I'd give serious consideration to. Agreed. But I'm assuming we'll land a big fish.

So then you think he has already hit his ceiling? Or at least come close to it? Probably. I don't really see him ever turning into a star receiver. Which is fine, he is what he is and what he is is very important to this football team. If he can continue to be a 500-700 yard guy with consistent hands and an ability and desire to be a strong downfield blocker, he's more than welcome on this roster as far as I'm concerned.

That opens up the Hart Trophy race now. Time for Hutchinson to make his move!

Kohlert is better but he's slowly becoming overrated around these parts. He was among the top Canadian receivers in what turned out to be a very down year for receivers in general. Sub 600 yard season, only a single game with 5 or more catches. He's an above average Canadian receiver. Nothing wrong with that.

I liked Bryant when I heard about him earlier, he's not the fastest guy but he's LONG. Huge wingspan. But wow, Benton ... never seen or heard anything about him but if I'm forming an opinion off one set of highlights, he looks like a keeper.

LOL Desjardins. This guy has to be one of the worst general managers in pro sports. He scouts Eric Rogers out and then cuts him, leaving him free to go to Calgary. Rogers turns out to be such an impact player in Calgary that he steals Mo Price's job. What does Desjardins do? Trade his best player from 2014 for Mo Price. LOL
