Mike

Steal.

I'd love it but two questions: 1) what would we be adding? 2) why would Buffalo do this?

So would he sign with Dallas? Florida? Tampa Bay?

FROM THE HANDSHAKE

I'd like to see Mayo too, I'm a big fan of the guy but really - who do you bench to get him in there? The makeup of our roster does not support dressing a backup American receiver. Medlock - obviously Heath - dime back in several packages, very important beyond an injury replacement and benching him would leave us with inadequate options in the secondary if an injury occurred Martin - rotational player on the line - this team has been using a 4 man rotation at DE all year, it's instilled in our guys - how do you adjust now? Especially with keeping those guys fresh being of utmost importance against such a solid OL. Knox - this would be the one that you could maybe argue, but he's one of our best special teams guys on cover teams and again, he's a backup to Bass (who is already nicked)

Harris and McDuffie are the scratches

If it means we win, I wouldn't care if you got blown away by a tornado.

I just read Friesen's column in the Sun. To give you all an idea of the premise, the headline is "Kiss her goodbye" Friesen is honestly such an idiot.

Rain would be good for us. Anything that puts the game in a more unpredictable environment would benefit the underdog.

Very excited to see Eric Martin get some reps. I would assume the scratches will be either Gauthier or Hurl and Knox? (or Harris, of course)

Smith going this week would be a surprise. Pleasant one.

Go Team North America

Junior Turner out is BIG for us - he's a force in the middle, but his injury will also cause Calgary to shuffle the ratio, since his backup is suspended. Then again, Bergman being back in for them means they're lose an American on the OL so ... maybe I spoke too soon.

I will take any tickets that do not suit your criteria. One caveat: paying for them does not suit my criteria. (You're totally right though, the schedule blows this year - although they do always tend to find ways to tempt me into a Jets vacation)

Bakari Grant out for Calgary

Oh, I wasn't kidding.

MBT isn't under contract for next year either.

His middle name is Baltazar

I would assume Dressler, Cole, Cummings, Corney, Bass are all maintenance days.

24? Oh nevermind then. That's young.

I remember hearing this Lonnie Outlaw name before ... I think he was in camp with Calgary at one point? Or he tried out for us? I can't remember, but I feel like he's already pretty up there in years.

I find it interesting that TB always says "you can't just look at the winning streak, you have to look at the whole picture" but then is willing to make a hire/fire call on one game.

Practice rosters expanded 10 days ago, but the teams can activate their 30-day window any time they want from that point. The Bombers activated theirs today and are adding 5 bodies to the PR - apparently those will be a QB, WR, DB and 2 DL

Phenomenal article.

This is going to sound slightly crazy but I actually think we match up very well with Calgary on paper.
