Just came across this article and found it pertinent to the discussion about how pension liabilities hurt the conservatives deficits and with the increase in interest rates will help Ottawa balance the budget (or spend more money). http://business.financialpost.com/news/economy/rising-interest-rates-could-allow-liberals-to-post-smaller-deficits-in-2019-pbo

Google is just as bad as Facebook in terms of building up a profile of you. And if the data they have on you were to get out, it would be just as bad. Think about how much you could infer about a person by looking at everything they've ever searched for.

Don't understand why you wouldn't play Hutch yesterday and save Hellebuyck for today. -
Privacy laws have evolved so much in the last 10 - 15 years, I don’t think this is something government run lotteries can keep mandating long term. Especially when you see evidence that harm can and does happen to winners If the public trust is really at risk, you hire 3rd party auditors to make sure everything is above board and publish those results. The real problem lotteries have with this is that smiling faces with big cardboard cheques are better for advertising.

Wheeler is a FA after next year. Buff could turn into a bad contract. $7.6M until 2020/2021 when he will be 35. Also Little making $5.3M until 36.

They were talking about this on 1290 this morning. The mashup is very well done.

Can see it if you have a wide enough screen. I don't think they tested it on mobile

I could ask if someone wants to go but I somehow doubt we would be given media access. CFL releases the combine rosters https://www.cfl.ca/2018/03/01/rosters-set-cfl-reveals-list-2018-combine-participants/

There was still no salary cap in the NHL when they were building the arena, so NHL hockey coming back was more a pipe dream then anything. Plus the funding model was predicated on the downtown location, which I believe limited the building size. Also, building it at that location is what got Thompson involved as he (or his holdings) owned the Eaton's building. Don't know if the Jets come back to Winnipeg without Thompson being part of True North.

Scoring was way easier and higher back then. Last season Connor McDavid led the way with 100 points. (30G 70A). The 20th top scorer was Auston Matthews with 69 points (40G 29A) In Teemu's rookie season, Lemieux was top scorer with 160 points (69G 91A). And he did that in 60 games. The 20th top scorer was Fleury with 100 points (34G 66A). So Lemieux's assists alone would put him as the 2nd highest scorer last year. His goals alone in the top 20. And it wasn't just Lemieux with those kinds of numbers. #2 - Lafontaine 148 points #3 - Oates 142 points #4 Yzerman 137 points Teemu was 5th with 132 points.
