Those who were once shadows, Dobson, Jones, Ayers, now rise to their true form. And Zach? Oh, Zach :). This is November. When the cold bites, he thrives. If he gets going, they will not stop us. Will that hat be available online? I love the design! Might have to get my nephew in Winnipeg to snag one for me at the game. Today’s game is going to be wild. I think the Elks have a better shot on offense with my special space child at QB, BUT a packed house and our defense should shut that down. Zach is finally getting on the same page with his receivers and O-line, and hopefully, they hit their stride in the first half, not the second. A win today and we clinch the West in spirit if not technically, no doubt. Plus, we’re only getting stronger with guys coming back from injury this fall!

McLeod Bethel-Thompson is probably my favorite QB in the league today. He always says interesting stuff in media interviews, not like the other uninteresting dumb jock QBs. He’s my space child! I wish the Bombers had found a way to keep him back when he was on the practice roster. He's so solid when he’s got time to throw, always finds the open man. But I hope we bury him today. Go Bombers!

I'd love to see an extra American DB on the depth list, and wish we'd use the Nationalized American rule, but otherwise that's a strong roster, most complete in a long time.

I hope the offense will find their rhythm for a full 60 minutes this week. The defense is doing all the heavy lifting despite constant injuries, but the offense just can’t seem to get it together. It’d be nice to see some deep throws to Lawler and Wheatfall, but I’m not holding my breath.

I was probably sitting pretty close by, and I fully agree with you it was clear that Rourke was really slinging it with some serious zip, putting a whole lot of mustard on his throws. Meanwhile Collaros, his passes were hanging up there like they were waiting for a breeze to carry them. Collaros was still making the right reads, but his throws lacked the pep and pizzazz they used to have. And the same critique can be applied to the punting duel. BC's punter had the kind of leg that could make a football fly like a well-chucked boomerang, while our Aussie bum seemed to be kicking with a limp noodle.

The coverage in the last handful of games has been outstanding, like a well-oiled machine in action. It appears to be a significant improvement over what we had with our last special teams coach.

I harbored reservations about Case, but he possesses an electrifying dynamism that is rapidly winning me over, like a lightning bolt across the field. My hope now is that his hands are as sure as a seasoned receiver's in the clutch.

That's a fair take. I'm just itching for that big play magic we have hardly seen in the past season and a half. A boy can dream.

I'd argue it's precisely what earned him back to back Most Outstanding Player awards. He needs to return to that form, playing his brand of football with confidence, not stalling out playing Buck Ball. This is the key to reigniting his dominance on the field, and it's what the fans want.

Zach Collaros, It’s time to let it rip and sling it deep today! Enough with the safe plays, go big or go home. We need you to throw those bombs like your life depends on it, like it's 2019 again. Air it out, and let’s blow this game wide open! Imagine holding back now against the watermelon heads. This season has been like having a sports car and never taking it past 30kph. Let’s see those deep throws and make it a game to remember finally.

If we put Woods in for Thomas, Cole in for Kramdi, and Jones in for Bighill, this roster would be absolutely unstoppable. We've got the pieces, and we're just a few tweaks away from dominating the field. We're so close to the optimal lineup, it's almost painful to watch.

If it's not Europe, count me out. "The Final Countdown" and their entire back catalogue are unbeatable, pure rock legends.
