  1. I’m not gonna lie, I got a *very* slight 2008 vibe this off-season. Especially before the Lawler signing. Really though at the aging spots (DE, OT, MLB) who was around to bring in? Honestly, I think out of all the age 30+ guys that they kept, I may have parted ways with Jeffcoat and Thomas. We know the front 4 makes the Hall D tick. Granted it’s only February but as it stands right now, I don’t think they have the horses.
  2. I could get a room with all their fans and there’d still be half a room available. For real though, with Wilson, ours are the league standard. Without him last year, it was a toss-up.
  3. Argos had either the best or 2nd best LB corps in the league already.
  4. I don’t like it one bit, but you’re not wrong. Did Jones have Fajardo there? I thought he bailed after the year with Brandon Bridge
  5. Well Chris Jones found his formula again. High paid WR. Decent D. Mobile, inaccurate QB. OL made of breadsticks. Good luck with that.
  6. Wasn’t he the guy who was on the PR for like 10 years, finally penciled in as a starter and then just didn’t show up to camp?
  7. Also, he wasn’t very good anyway. Neither of those guys is fit to so much as run to the store for Dan Clark.
  8. Doubt there’s room but man Mike Jones is a player. I’d love to see him back here.
  9. You know what? That’s a really important point. I forgot he was pretty open about his struggles. As someone with some pretty tough mental wellness issues, I’m the last one who should be judgemental. (Accidentally posted this in the wrong thread earlier)
  10. I’ve seen players get emotional countless times, but I have never seen an athlete flat out sobbing like that.
  11. I like Ticky Tocker too but I’d still like to see a true NT. Walker and Thomas can rotate.
  12. Good. It means they have no choice but to bring in a big fat monster nose tackle.
  13. I think his is the best of Edmontons ex-Rider signings. Moore is a very decent WR2/3.
  14. Indeed. до біса Путін. слава україні.
  15. I don’t say this lightly. That was the dumbest football opinion I’ve ever heard. It’s not even close.
  16. They just don’t know how to use Dan Clark properly over there. Guy should be leading the league in something, if not everything.
  17. You’re right. Appeasement of Nazi Germany played a huge role but the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact was the start of the war moving to a larger scale. The geopolitical situation right now mirrors the 1930s in so many ways. It’s terrifying quite honestly.
  18. Everyone was slightly off. I still think it was that Prukop pick that did them in the most. They were going for a backbreaker like the Strev-Harris pass in 19, but you gotta just keep it on the ground there. All the momentum. Brady was starting to kill it. That call was just inexplicable.
  19. That actually hits…kind of hard. Ralphie and Randy’s Mom.. 🙁
  20. You mean they have aspirations of invading other countries as well?! Who, since 1938 could ever predict this?
  21. Not bad, sure. For a (not too old) guy who at one point was unquestionably the best WR in the league, I’d think with motivation he’d do a lot more than pass Rasheed Bailey in stats.
  22. Demski wasn’t exactly a sure thing at SB/WR before he came here either. Basically did McCrae things in Sask, albeit far more success returning punts.
