@JuranBoldenRules iirc made the point a while back that the WIL spot should only be on an entry level salary. I couldn’t agree more. It’s the easiest position on D to find an impact rookie.

I can’t picture players running through a paper streamer for Rick Campbell, let alone a wall. He always struck me as the film room type over the leadership type. I’ve seen O’Shea at least coach guys up on the sidelines. Campbell just stands there with that look on his face, like he’s trying to figure out if he trusted the fart too much.

The most overlooked point of the season on this forum. The league figured out our passing game last year, and nothing’s really evolved at all.

He very well may be overrated. The Bombers probably still would have won the game. Thing is, without Fords turnovers, Edmonton would have been very likely playing with a lead in the 4th quarter last night. I don’t buy that their running game wouldn’t be a factor without Ford at all. They were running all over teams with MBT starting too.

I don’t know, I think Macbeth would have them put up more points than Ford had he played from the start. Certainly wouldn’t have turned the ball over as much.

A kick in the ass is better than a kick in the junk if those are the only two options I guess.

1. Brady- The difference maker again. 2. Ayers- Key turnover and a solid all-around game from a guy who wasn’t even starting until tonight’s warmups. 3. Secondary. The best overall position group in the league, and arguably top 5 in Bomber history. HH- Tony Jones- I’d give him a star but I’m not sure if he’s even that good, or just a testament to how bad the rest of our LBs have been this season. Either way he had some very timely plays tonight. Second HH - Us, for having to listen to that insufferable TSN broadcast team again. Turd of the game- Officials- specifically the ball spot on Edmontons 3rd down gamble (and the 2nd and 7 leading up to it) in Q1.

Ass ugly win, but I mean, If you had asked me at the beginning of August I would have said no way in hell do they get to 8 wins this year, never mind first in the west.
